good advice, but in my opinion what keeps your brain focused is when your mood is good, so do things that make your mood good so you can concentrate when trading.
playing games or other entertainment can help your mood get better.

To add onto this, if you have anxiety that can kill your logical thinking and ability to concentrate. For this I highly recommend checking out my Etizolam listing, https://nootropicplace.com/nootropic-drugs/etizolam/etizest-1/

I take Bitcoin, ship US, and have the best prices by far!

Tea's always a nice option, but I like to drink coffee most of the time. I drink about a cup of coffee or two every day (one usually in the morning and one if I need a bit of an energy boost in the evening), and it keeps me awake more than if I were just going straight and sober. I also go out for walks about every day, and I wake up refreshed every morning, so my health's likely just fine as it is.

I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners, and I usually just go for regular sugar in my coffee. I eat rather healthy already, and I've got plenty of calories to spare.

As for coffee pushing your sleep time back, I recall doing some reading on the topic and found that it takes around seven or so hours for the effects of caffeine to completely go through processed in your body. Not sure about the exact number, but I've also found this to typically be true.

When I was day trading I did it sober. I figured if I was getting tired or losing focus it was a sign I needed a break. Get up, walk around, maybe use the restroom or get a snack. The body has ways of telling you what it needs. It's wise to listen to those signs instead of ignoring them. Your health is worth more than a few bucks on a trade.
It's easy when trading is more a side 'job' and you're ok with the results after each session, but that's not the case when it comes to those doing it on a serious/professional level.

If you have to perform for the sake of generating income to pay your bills, or when it's your greed that has taken you over entirely, you will revert to substances that give you an energy boost you desperately need at that point.

Going outside to take a break means wasting precious time where you could have banked on one or more profitable trades. That's how these traders think, so consuming substances is the most convenient option.

Urgency and greed makes people easily discard body signs.

This is so true, so many sacrifice their health for profit. But very understandable when big stakes are on the line. People want to be as cognitively alert, focused as possible and Modafinil achieves that for many, though some report anxiety and strengthening of OCD symptoms. Personally I've accomplished many great things on Modafinil, for me it's a miracle drug.

I am not strong enough to stay focused every day analyzing and predicting asset prices in the market, so I do not benefit every day in trading,

I have a client who tells me my Modafinil is his secret to day trading successfully. It's makes sense, as it keeps you focused, motivated, and energized, more then you could ever be without it.

I'm curious, how many of you day traders dabble in substances to stay awake and focused, if so, do you make more $ with it?

One must be made aware that the miracles of the drug don't work on everyone. I tried and it just made me really nervous as opposed to being focused. Plus I know the same happened to my friends also. No effect whatsoever.

Orange Pekoe Number 10, also called as Darjeeling Tea (as in Earl Grey Darjeeling), keeps me alert right from the first whiff off the cup. So, there's also some psychology involved. Cappuccino also keeps me alert. Espresso, Cappucino are safer on the stomach lining, for those that have problems with hyperacidity, than instant or other brewed coffees.

Basically, you need to hype up the process of consumption of the brew. So, some ceremony is useful, like tea pots, and tea trays, and little nibbles and snacks, scones and biscuits. It also helps to keep consumption to a safe daily limit; as otherwise, you'll be downing limitless cups a day.  Believe me, I've drunk tea like two cups every hour for the first three hours, and a cup an hour thereafter for eight more, and apart from the caffeine buzz, there's little to recommend over three, four cups a day max.

If you are drinking lots of tea, coffee; then it'll make sense to substitute sugar with Stevia or some artificial sweetener, just to cut down on the calories. Also, stop drinking tea, coffee six hours prior to sleep time, or you'll find difficulty in sleeping. If you are extremely sleepy, you will sleep even if you've gulped down a cuppa an hour before. But, on a normal day, I've found that drinking coffee, especially restaurant brews, invariably pushed my sleep time six hours down the line.

This is the safest, drug-free, healthy method to stay alert and in full control of your faculties. It's also anti-ageing, and prevents several diseases like Parkinson's, etc. Tea, cofee drinkers also imbibe less or no alcohol, so that's another indirect positivity.

Basically there are plus poimts all the way for this practice. So, go ahead and indulge!
