Mod still has not removed the post. This is 4th time I have reported including the one few minutes ago. Let's try to get attention of @hilariousandco as he is someone who always address any issue in the meta, at least from my observation, I have found him many times to give his opinion in concerns about mods job. I would like to hear some comments from hilariousandco please.

If I understand The Pharmacist correctly then he was point out those cerebration topics pops up all the time when users like you get his next 100 merit or get their next rank or things like that.

Especially reports for posts in Meta or Reputation often stay unhandled. If it's not clear spam, those 2 boards allow more than other boards.

Besides growing thick skin, You also need to get attention from every a gem members this forum. It aims to protect you when your situation is pressed. Fact says this scope only supports a gem members and The middle class argument will lose to the upper class

Apparently, whole looking at comments and responses for comments, its only right that, when a comment for which a reply is directed towards goes out of existence, so also should the response. When looking at follow ups, responses are more appreciable when, the comment for which it is directed towards still exists otherwise, it would just bring about some confusion.

You asked that your comments be deleted and LoyceV did in his self moderated topic, your not in the position to ask that he should delete his as well. Its his self moderated thread and as such, he gets to do as he pleases, not excluding deciding who posts in his thread. I think that's part of the rules. Mean while, there is every possibility as well that, a responses could also serve as an instruction to other users posting in that thread which explains it as being useful in some way and not worth deleting.

Again, should things not go our way with the moderators at every point, doesn't mean a laxity on the part of the moderators. It's a matter of judgement and the report just doesn't appeal to there judgement, that's all. Other reasons could follow as to why some reports could be left unhandled but when it comes to self moderated threads, the rules could paly out differently.

I do not report a lot but I don't think anything has changed regarding moderation. I reported some posts this week and they were handled but the thing is, some reports can remain unhandled forever, and that doesn't mean moderators are not around or anything.

Honestly speaking I do not care for the deleted posts, I am being very honest. The reason I came this fur is because I felt offended with his unwelcomed lecture which I cleared him very well knowing the response was off topic ^[3] and suggested to delete it.

May be do us a favor, after 3 years when you make another topic just make it a generalized for all so that all those noobs, wrench, merit whores don't have to create celebration shit for every 100 merits they earn or reach their next rank or may be get their next 1k merit, you name it. At-least you are qualified to create such a topic. I understand we have to swallow the craps for the next three years from the crocks 😉

That's what the ignore button is for. The internet isn't supposed to be a place where you interact in ways you don't like. If you don't like a user: ignore them!

Did you report it as off-topic? I've noticed OPs get a bit more leeway to go off-topic in their own topics.

First of all, yes you do care.  If you didn't, you wouldn't have gotten your fur standing on end and this thread wouldn't exist. 

Second, Ratimov can say whatever he likes--just as you can say whatever you like (within the structure of the forum, obviously, which includes potentially having your posts deleted by someone who self-moderates their threads).  It looks to me like Ratimov made a statement about his early days on the forum, which you followed up with some unwelcome comments about the Russia situation.  Frankly a lot of members here are just sick and tired of that kind of discussion creeping into every crook and crevice on the forum.

That's where my question too and I have reported the post twice with no result yet. So my valid concern that if there are any changes in terms of report handling or there are not many moderators around.

Let's find if the mods spot it now. Hope they do?

His lecture seemed he knew everything that exists in the forum but even after I asked him specifically on my posts (at least it was clear that I was pointing him to remove the lecture too), he did not care to remove which means he kept it just to get paid for his signature campaign. After all making 55 posts is a lot more harder than you imagine.

It’s his self moderated post. He can delete any of your post regardless of your request.
But according to the moderation rules (no rules I mean), if a post/reply is deleted, any response made to that deleted post gets deleted as well AFAIK. According to that, he must have deleted his post as well. But who knows what's the criteria moderators applying here to keep his post alive there.

On the topic, 1000-Day Legendary (I am waiting for LoyceV or theymos to create some topics like 10k merits, suck my dick, the greatest merit hack learn from LoyceV/Theymos LOL), created by some merit sucker dickhead obviously to whore more merits, where I posted a reply to respond comments, 1st from him and 2nd from another user.

I was nice and polite even congratulated him^[1] even knowing it's just another merit whoring topic. As the conversation developed I engaged^[2] with another user too. But to surprise me OP started lecturing me as you can see on the quoted post at the beginning. Obviously these sounded arrogant to me (Sorry, LoyceV, I wish I would have a thick skin like you and your gang members) and I reacted^[3].


I am happy that he deleted as I asked^[3] but when I browsed back and wanted to see if he deleted his lecture which does not have any value now, I found that he did not delete his own. It was still there. I went like^[4]:


And now he obviously deleted ^[4] but with that he also deleted ^[1] and ^[2]. I don't mind he deleted all 4 posts but why he still have the lecture? The post he followed up is not existed anymore then there are no point for this follow up post, in fact this post is now an off-topic post.

Would any mod explain why the post still exists?

This may reduce some of the spam in the reputation board. I am sure including me there are many members who are tired of these shits that pops up all the time when someone ranks up especially some consistent users who mastered the loophole to earn huge sums of merits just by twisting information from several reference sites and several local languages in the name of quality content and educate the community 🤣
