It is probably temporary to be honest.
The coin is completely community driven in my opinion and doesn't really have a bigger community than dogecoin, or have as big a volume as dogecoin on a regular basis. Yet, it is ranked at around 15 places above dogecoin on coinmarketcap.
Should just be a temporary thing. 180% per day gains are unrealistic for the long term, and an adjustment should come sooner or later.
I was very surprised when I saw its price as I stopped following this coin quite long time ago. Japan is an important factor in that success.

the monacoin being posted on bitflyer news happened on Friday night 6 days ago. the Polonex thing isn't news yet. it's just advice to request the coin on polonex.
