not sure when you are saying about monero right now but the fact monero still has so many updates that will come soon. But ethereum gets a problem when this platform must face the reality when majority of exchange sites have taken the advantage from its own launch pad. that prevents ethereum to grow

There's no guarantee if monero won't gonna stop its price to go down but I can tell you monero its not a bad investment I personally prepare monero instead of Waves. as we all see that bitcoin now is down $1k from its sudden rising it will have a chance to rise again and when that happen I'm sure some Altcoins will follow and one of them will be monero.

It is really best as utility for most people because of it being a privacy coin, and I think privacy coin is what people are really running to now, but it is quite too expensive, imaging buying 1 Monero now about 90 dollars, and then getting 100 usd back by December, I am not sure it is really worth investing in for now, and even if it riches its pick, the highest I think Monero can still reach is $500 usd.

The more expensive a coin become to accumulate, the lesser it gets MUCH buyers, so I would still kind of prefer to invest it in coins with lower value within the top coinmarketcap, these ones have the tendency of being increased up to 2000 percent at a stretch in the next alt season, while I don’t think Monero can get more than 500 percent. Yes, you would be right to buy monero, anyone who gets some into their portfolio would be making a great decision but right now I feel like maybe I should holding bitcoin a bit more like at least a month maybe until end of the summer and then buy altcoins which is why I wouldn't get it now. That is not because it won't go up, it will definitely go up but I just feel like there are profits and there are profits, why would I buy and wait for something when I can already make profits as it is right now. If you are interested in privacy coins, Monero is hands down the best one to buy.
It is considered one of the big coins even though it is not in the top 5.
It's been around forever, has consistently done well, and has a huge community backing it.
So 20% down is of course, a great time to buy.
It is not one of those coins that will just continue to fall and fail.

With Libra and btc looking to finally bring crypto mainstream, the demand for privacy coins will most likely increase.
As regulations set in, and centralized payment methods become a burden, something like Monero will become more valuable.

Same opinion as him OP monero is not a good coin for me but on other parts its a decent coin still ethereum is greater you should all in your funds or have at least 50% of your total funds for buying ethereum

Just something is not going right with many altcoins as even if you see Gas is down a lot though btc is rising a lot but it’s reciprocal effect cannot be seen in altcoins to rise like the btc rose from 4K to 12 k level . Hopefully it will cover up soon .

Same opinion as him OP monero is not a good coin for me but on other parts its a decent coin still ethereum is greater you should all in your funds or have at least 50% of your total funds for buying ethereum

Monero is even best when compared to bitcoin but on the price its currently down and I can see many altcoins down in the last few hours due to the change of their capital into bitcoin since people want to make profits from the bull run on bitcoin.

3 months change of monero against BTC =-36

Even the change is negative during the BTC bull run, the performance of monero is not bad comparing other big alts. And still in profit agains USD.

I am also much better off buying or investing in ethereum coins than monero because ethereum is guaranteed by many people who get big profits in the long and short term. so my advice is better to buy ethereum than monero

if you want to invest your bitcoins in altcoin trading then it is the worst time that you could do it with any of the altcoins because they are all going down hard as bitcoin price continues rising and bitcoin is probably going to see a correction soon because of this big rise and that means altcoins will fall down more. which is another reason why it is a bad idea to invest in them right now.

if you are investing your fiat in altcoins then you are making profit but not that much because again as altcoins are dumping their USD values don't go up that much, it only goes up a little because of bitcoin price rise. so you are better off investing in bitcoin.
