There doesn't seem to be any logical reason to fork Monero right now, this is likely to be a pump and dump by the founders.

Never support forked coins, they are the plague of the cryptosphere (usually, but not always).

The actual birth of the new cryptocurrency called MoneroV will be held in block 1529810 on Wednesday, March 14. The digital currency will be launched with the highest limit of 256 million coins.
