I've been mining with that server since november 2017 and it was worth it. I mined a bit of every cryptonight algo coin I could find and now when they just started to rise I already have a 500$ revenue. I mined ETN, XLC, ITNS, SUMO and KRB. I got to do it early while the difficulty was low while also mining with a gpu rig. I kept the rig mainly on ETN while jumping from one coin to another with the dual xeon L5630 from my HP DL380 G7. It hashes about 250mhs on average. I am quite happy with it.

It all depends on what cpu model you have?

About ~500 H/s for dual X5690 using xmr-stak-cpu cryptonight miner. Mining Electroneum (ETN) with 500 H/s for a month would ge about 552 ETN / worth $88.
Your electricty bill is probably higher.

Page 2 here shows cpu support list, not sure if its worth upgrading https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04199811.pdf?ver=48

I've heard that Monero can be mined with CPU, so was thinking to setup mining machine with DL380 G7. Is this a feasible option? should I try it? what do you think?
