There are 2 miners that support the new algo called V7.
Cast and xmrig.
All miner software will be updated.
Cast advertised that it has an autodetect algo and the user wont do anything to change it.

I heard the Monero PoW is supposed to be ASIC resistant. So it is not unusual to change PoW.

Surely the pools will change the code their end so us miners dont need to worry too much about it. Maybe just hae to tweak the settings or restart the rigs.
