My thread was unmoderated.

That's true. After checking Google's Web Cache for "Vcash -- warning about moderated threads, link to unmoderated thread" I've edited my above statement.

"WARNING about moderated threads"

*IS POSTED IN A MODERATED THREAD*

THAT is why you FAIL

Thanks iCEBREAKER! I admit it wasn't my own idea, I copied the idea 1:1 from smooth*.

In my humble opinion it is very important to warn the community about this self-moderation tactic indeed.

* his thread was removed though.

EDIT: I posted "copied 1:1" earlier but my memory was wrong about it being exactly the same. His thread was not moderated.

The Monero cryptocurrency holders frequently create heavily moderated discussion threads, pumping the coin by deleting all posts but their own hype. You can tell it is always the same dozen or so nicks, I wonder how many of them are actually sock puppets.

WARNING: many people have reported that messages are selectively deleted from the self-moderated threads based on expressing any criticism or questioning of Monero or the claims of its supporters. If you are reading those threads, be aware you are seeing a very one sided version of the discussion that occurred.
