Yes I agree with you, money needs to be fully off the hands of the government who controls money by printing as much amount as they need thereby causing inflation in the economy of the system, we need a money that is controlled by the people and should have a consensus before more money is been created and bitcoin is making this happen already, this makes bitcoin and other cryptocurrency government biggest threat.

There are obvious advantages of having money truly free from the shackles of censorship, that is one of the uniques advantages cryptocurrency offers, nonetheless, there are a few exceptions to this general proposition, the only form of money that should be free is a truly decentralized money, not some minted coins minted at the behest of some governments or corperations.
