I am a newbie...

Is it necessary to keep a monitor attached to each rig?
It seems nobody needs a monitor attached to a mining rig.
I just need some further details.

These are some questions
How do you know your rig is mining after you unplug your monitor, keep updates, etc...
Is it necessary to keep a monitor attach to each rig

Thanks very much for your time!

Since this thread is for bitcoin mining I assume that you are asking about mining using ASIC miners. for ASIC miners you don't need to have a monitor for it, you can remotely access your miners, what you just need is an ethernet cable. GPU mining for altcoin needs a monitor to be attached but same as ASIC you can remotely access it.

No, you do not need a monitor. You may sometimes want to use a monitor only when updating or debugging something. Teamviewer may be used but I prefer doing it directly on the computer most of the time.

But to answer the question "if it was necessary to attach a monitor" , the answer is no Smiley

Of course monitors are needed. And a gaming keyboard with backlight, a HI-FI audio system and a VR.  Wink

You see. You are beginning to open your eyes. Nobody seems to monitor their mining. It is because most of the scammers that you saw on YouTube are not really mining. They are scammers. You are beginning to see through their moronic ways. You are better suited to mine because you are asking the right questions. Monitor your mining rig. That is the way of an intelligent miner. Go Miner. Today scammers are aplenty. They will not tell you how to monitor because they don't know how to mine. You should monitor your rig. Always. The only way to distinguish a miner from scammers is their internet router. If they know how to connect their rigs to the internet. They cannot mine without the internet. Remind these morons how stupid they are

try other software free online although i cant trust any of those
cause we dont know whats on the code
but the more good thing to do is to hire or ask your family or brother to check it once in a while
I think you can trust things like claymore, as it is used by thousands of people, and I think you can view the code. Also, you can use your pool to check on it. most pools have a monitoring feature.

You only need to do a monitor switch if you see the rig you want to display. But if you are a worried person and do not have much time maybe buying a lot of monitors is the best option. If you have 5 rigs then you should have 5 monitors. Price monitors are not expensive and this is very beneficial for our mining business. Oh yes you can also do it easily, you can install remote application and you can access your rig from anywhere so the need to have many monitors can be avoided. Back again that it all depends on you because you are going to play an important role in building and running your mining.

Yea as some people mentioned you really don't need to have a monitor for each mining rig.. you can use 1 screen for let's say 20 mining rigs just to do some check-ups every now and then to see if everything is fine Smiley.

Yes mining using gpu doesnt need a monitor to mine, unlike cpu it will need to see and collect the mine coin to directly go to your wallet, that is why for me much better to set up gpu mining and it is less hustle.

But don't you need to connect monitor daily to collect coins in case your computer shutdowns on accident and wifi goes off. Wouldn't you lose all the coins?

Is there a website with more info about this topic "In order to see if everything if OK I check in the page of my pool and if it's not working I connect to the computer using anydesk."

Thanks for your time!

No, you don't need a monitor attached to each rig, I only put a screen the firsts days for check if something is wrong. In order to see if everything if OK I check in the page of my pool and if it's not working I connect to the computer using anydesk.
