The zebra was for sale - is this the new owner now?

I heard that the previous owner which was the same that have moonbit.co.in too had bought zebra and now it is under the control of a new owner and it seems that it has a serious problem with payments from a while - be careful

I noticed a glitch on http://faucet.bitcoinzebra.com/

The zebra is ill at the moment - please try again later.

Any one else see that message? It has been like this for three days now.

Also no payments have been made since 2016-05-20

My balance is stuck at 14100 satoshis
That means that the faucet funds of zebra is dry. The owner is not funding the faucet immediately as compare when the site still have Google Adsense.

Hey guys, it's me again.

I was already trying different browsers yesterday, it did not help.

However, I have good news regarding my issue: Today I logged in and suddenly was able to make claims again!! I have not changed anything other than going to sleep and coming back again. It just works again.

The cause of this glitch is still unknown to me but I think it's safe to assume that there was no ill intent behind it, meaning it's more of a bug and less of a scam. I will edit the title accordingly.

I'm using this faucet for very long time and I can't remember when I got errors last time, only sometimes getting message about wrong captcha solution - but it's my fault Cheesy. Now I checked faucet and claimed successfuly, so I think problems can come from OP side. Maybe you can try to use faucet with other browser - long time ago Igot problems on faucet with mozilla browser - got messge that I use adblock, but I never used it on faucets.

Thanks for your reply.

I've already cleared my cache and other browser files along with restarting my computer and the other usual stuff you do when something isn't working.

But I really appreciate all you guys coming forward with your experiences about the same glitch so maybe this is just a temporary issue for me as well, since it all seemed to work out for you guys in the end.

I'll call it a day for now but will give you an update on the situation tomorrow. Of course I will edit the title and clarify that it was a technical glitch should everything work out by then, no worries.

I got paid this weekend from moonbit.
Although I had the same errors as you some time ago.
I cleared my cache and cookies, then all went back to normal. don't know if that would be a fix for you.

But I did notice it happened when having moon. moondoge and moonlite all open at the same time  Grin

I'd rather keep the title as is until this matter is resolved. Describing it as a potential problem wouldn't make much sense anyways since it is one, not just potentially.

The weird thing is that I was never using ad blockers, java script blockers, TOR, other VPNs or proxies, bots or other exploits of any kind. The error just started coming one day and never went away - only when I use another, fresh receiving address it disappears.

I'll keep you guys updated, maybe the error will vanish one day or I'll get contacted by the admin. I really hope this matter can be resolved.

Could you please change the title of this thread to "potential problem" because scam is a harsh word.

Hope your problem gets fixed soon.

As explained, I am not excluding technical errors - I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. That's why I was referring to it as a potential scam. I am not certain whether me not being able to claim any further satoshis was done on purpose and with ill intent or the result of an innocent glitch. Either way, it is pretty frustrating as all of my previous efforts are rendered meaningless.

I tried getting in contact with the admin but have not heard from him/her yet. Maybe he will respond to this topic.

Congrats on your referrals btw, those are some juicy commissions!!

I have tons of moonbit referrals and I claim on it daily and I never have any problems.

I would not say they are a scam but they might have some errors...did you try to contact the admin?

You should do that before talking bad about them.

Edit: Please note that the glitch hindering me from making further claims on moonbit.co.in has disappeared after two days. I still do not know the cause of this bug but as everything works again and as other users confirmed that this bug occurs from time to time, I think it's safe to assume that the site is not a scam, just a little bit glitchy sometimes Wink Disregard any scam accusation in this post for now, I'll keep you updated should the glitch occur again.

So, a lot of you might have heard of the faucet http://moonbit.co.in/

It's an independent faucet that has one of those cool "satoshis will add up when you're afk" features, meaning you don't have to claim every fifth minute to get a decent amount of satoshis. I really liked the faucet and decided to give it a go.

At first, everything went smoothly, the rewards were OK for a faucet and I was looking forward to my first withdrawal.

Half-way there, however, I suddenly started getting errors when trying to claim satoshis. Every time I wanted to make a claim and further my funds so I could finally cash out, the system would respond with the error "Sorry, something very bad has happened - please try again later"

At first, I thought this must have been a mistake on the faucet's side since I didn't use any ad blockers or javascript blockers. I waited a day for the error to vanish but it did not. Eventually I started asking other people that use the faucet and they said everything was performing as usual.

This made me curious. Why was I not able to make claims when other people ostensibly were?

I decided to log out and log back in with a different receiving address, just to see if I was able to claim with a fresh account - and I was. I thought this might have fixed the issue but when I logged out and logged back in on my main receiving address, the error message came back right away. (Please note that I had never used a different address before, my interaction with that faucet was 100% legit, no bots, no exploiting what so ever) This means I have wasted a lot of time on a faucet that won't let me gather any more satoshis in order to cash out.

I don't know if I was shadow-banned or blocked or if there are any other technical issues at play. Maybe the admin wants to keep cost low by blocking new users that make claims regularly. I don't know - but something is definitely up with this faucet.

I suggest you stay away from moonbit.co.in if you aren't invested already! There's nothing worse than an independent faucet that will never pay you for work you've already done. And even when disregarding all the fishy stuff, the recent adjusted rates have been way below average compared to other decent faucets, even ones that pay directly to faucetbox.
