The situation around Wonderland and Sifu is strange, because back in January, Sifu was kicked out of Wonderland after it turned out that Michael Patryn was behind Sifu, now, as a result of the vote, it was decided that Wonderland would invest $25 million in the Sifu token of the decentralized Sifu Vision fund founded by the same Michael Patryn. It's simple if there is a benefit from the manifestation for the reputation of the company, it is better to get rid of the toxic asset, and later invest money in it if it will bring profit.

Anybody could see that Daniele Sesta is part of it. Even if he had not known the identity of Omar yet while he agrees to this scheme, he still has it in mind to take part in this fraud.
I think he is honest to say that he didnt know yet the guy when they are collaborating with that. But on the end part. What I didnt like is he still want to give 0xsifu a chance inspite of the scandal profile of the guy but instead make a snapshot on what to do. Of course everyone will vote him out for sure. A scammer record would not be enough by good development he did since there will always be a fear from community that he will do it again. Feel bad for those investors who got caught with the price dump.

TIME, SPELL, ICE tokens flew by -70% in a week, LUNA dropped by almost 50% even the UST stable from Terra labs fell by 10%, but besides Terra labs, Daniel Sestagalli is also building other projects, such as infrastructure on Fantom and Avalanche, together with Andre Cronje, all this deals a significant blow to Defi as a whole.

Separate from his involvement in Quadriga, Patryn also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, burglary, grand larceny, and computer fraud.

A list of committed crimes by Michael Patryn. He definitely doesn't need 3rd chance to commit another of this. He is bound to do something similar all by himself.

It's just that easy to infiltrate the crypto space in general, and it has nothing to do with DeFi or any other cryptocurrency niche that people are linking here. Also, it's on the development team since they still welcomed a known person linked to a scam to work with them. Now nobody trusts the project, and it will soon plummet from here. Hopefully any project that this guy touches dies, and himself put behind bars. He destroyed lots of lives on what they did with QuadrigaCX.

I don't know why they think they can give this guy a second chance?

And since he is exposed already, I do hope that their projects will simple die. I mean there's no room for this kind of people. They have been proven scammers, they take people's money enjoy it and now trying to make another run out of unsuspecting victims.

The founder knows about the scammy past and still went ahead to give this scammer a second chance? What do they take crypto space for? The founder should have know better that if this leaks out one day they will all go down together, what a stupid risk to take

Well, it seems that they were both having some sort of deal on this and loot the peeps in the manner with which they would say it was crypto space.
I cant believe it how the CEO's and founders could be such scammers in this world? He had his wealth built up with the previous firm and still he came in hot to scam everyone.

This makes me angry because peeps are sometimes very blind and know nothing about the investments however, they all invest money because they go have faith on someone or something that will one day turn their wealth into something.

Not everyone here is able to recover the losses. Many of us are here to achieve the dreams as well.

Such scammers make us go one foot back! All the time.

The project wonderland has released the token $TIME and stablecoin $MIM (Magic Internet Money).

The CFO was a guy who had been associated with the QuadrigaFX exchange that ended with the owner "dying in india" and funds being "lost". This guy is 0xsifu on twitter with his name changed to Michael Patryn from Omar Dhanani.

The founders of the wonderland team apparently knew about his scammy past but decided to give him a second chance. This has been a big story out in the DeFi world. Here is a link to more details: https://rekt.news/sifu-scandal/

This is what gives decentralization a bad name. When scandalous people find their way into anonymous community due to being overlooked by a bunch of other zealots.

Scammers will always scam it's no use in giving them chance because they want easy money, now that this is exposed investors should now dump this toke, people should do research more on the token they are investing and once they find out the shabby character of the people behind it, they should dump and expose, this is the price we have to pay if we are not doing research, it's a decentralized world and we should be very careful because these scammers hide their identity in the name of anonymity and decentralization.
