The've started vaccinating people already... It is pretty interesting and exciting. I won't be able to get a vaccine anytime soon, so I am trying to keep the virus away by taking some vitamins and supplements which are good for immunity. I often get some things from Canada Drugs for it. What do you guys take? Give me any tips here, please

With all this vaccine I hope that next year we could finally be back to how we used to be before this pandemic.
I don't go out much but I really miss walking outside and doing what I used to do.
Australia has eliminated covid-19 just lately and that shows more hope is about to come. Although there were trials that were postponed, still they've beat covid-19.

--> https://www.wbur.org/onpoint/2020/12/09/how-australia-beat-coronavirus

You can still do things that you do but just follow the safety precautions that your health officials are suggesting.

It was finally approved and ready to deliver so it won't take another year to kill this virus and for the world to start moving on .

I walk still but it is irritating while having a mask, you can't breath naturally and the feeling of being suffocated is always there.

I miss Going with friends, having groupings and exchanging plans and achievements .

Hopefully vaccines start getting distributed ASAP & we can come to some sort of majority (been tested) by summer. I don’t expect normality to resume until this time next year. It’s been so long now, I really am fed up with it.

Same. I can't wait to cut off my 18" long, curling yellow toenails.

The latest news I've read is that hopefully by next year, around 80% would be vaccinated in the US.

That is about the same as the top estimates of the percentage of people with natural immunity in the UK. Why do they bother wasting money on health damaging vaccines that don't perform as well as free natural immunity.
right, I read that natural immunity is the best way to fight corona...
every day I am more and more convinced of the term *Corona is real but data about it is fake. So many drug companies claim their vaccines are effective but do not claim the safety of their vaccines to the human body in the long term.
I've seen the news about the natural healing and immunity of people. Those who have recovered have the immunity although some reports were said that some recovered patients were infected again.

The world has no choice as it seems  that everyone has to rely on the vaccine but I wouldn't take it as I'm not infected nor recovered.

The Oxford vaccine was developed from and is based on a chimpanzee DNA virus, and half a dose is more effective than a full dose., but less effective than natural immunity The trials were against a so-called placebo, which was actually the meningitis vaccine, and not against natural immunity. The only good news about Covid vaccines will the when they admit they are destructive and useless, and they divert the development funds into real medical care.

Dr. Wodarg and Dr. Yeadon request a stop of all corona vaccination studies and call for co-signing the petition

I've seen this reported in various sites but I haven't seen it in any major news site. So I'm not 100% sure it is true. Dr Yeadon is ex-Pfizer head of respiratory research.

Anyway, what they say is that vaccines could cause infertility in women, they can also cause an exaggerated immune reaction and other problems.

If this is true it is going to be very big.

Maybe they found a side effect of that vaccine, so they request to stop all corona vaccine. It is better to research more on the impact instead of knowing the effect after it is distributed because that can be another danger for people, especially for the patient. We need to wait for another health company that is still working hard to find the vaccine. Hopefully, the vaccine can be found before the end of the year.

There are many vaccine candidate to prevent covid-19 virus. First is the Pfizer vaccine which is 95% effective against the virus and now there is another one, the Moderna vaccine. This vaccine concludes 94 percent effective  and strongly protects against serious illness.

Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccine company plans to submit an application for emergency use authorization to the Food and Drug Administration today.

This is really good news for us and hopefully this will be the way to stop the covid-19 virus right away. Once it has started to spread to people, it can reduce the fear of the people about their health and that the lives of many will gradually return to normal.

The British Medical Journal doesn't think so: Will covid-19 vaccines save lives? Current trials aren’t designed to tell us.

"Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, said, “Ideally, you want an antiviral vaccine to do two things . . . first, reduce the likelihood you will get severely ill and go to the hospital, and two, prevent infection and therefore interrupt disease transmission.”7

Yet the current phase III trials are not actually set up to prove either (table 1). None of the trials currently under way are designed to detect a reduction in any serious outcome such as hospital admissions, use of intensive care, or deaths. Nor are the vaccines being studied to determine whether they can interrupt transmission of the virus."

It's worth reading the whole article.

if an efficacy above 90% of these vaccines will be confirmed, i believe that by the end of spring the virus will be eradicated, however I believe that too little experimentation has been done and there could be serious side effects

Good to hear that the application will be happening soon so the decision will come out earlier and hope not denial.

This covid must be stopped and this can't happen without the vaccine being distributed to public.
This will save the world from falling more deep.

Let all the credit be ,because all effort and time are spent on those vaccines.

Oxford AstraZenica is still in phase trial.

They've once announced that the vaccine is working 94% but they have to restudy it and put it back in the trials. A small-time for the development of vaccine but I hope that there are not that many side effects.

Hoping that the application will finalized and approved so the distribution will start immediately as the virus is still strongly active and the economy is really falling badly day after day..

Let the bashers do their part because they may be paid for but people want result so let it be.

I've spent a lot of time researching vaccines. in 1960, the period of preclinical research, clinical research and registration took 5-6 years, now it takes 10 or more years. The huge problem is that large volumes of vaccine cannot be produced in the laboratory. The production is very complicated, expensive, specialists are needed, and any mistake in the production of a vaccine can cause enormous harm.
Billions of people need to be vaccinated, side effects have not been studied. It is not clear how long this vaccine works.
There are still many unanswered questions.

Hopefully this will serve as the cure for the economic crisis that we are having right now, I'm positive seeing this news from the past few days. But the thing is how about the long term side effects? This has been the very argument with new vaccines, it's always the "how" question that is uncertain for the time being it is created, it may show 95% of effectivity but will be reduced in the long term or worst it may develop the virus more invulnerable. I've been living in a new normal protocols in my country, it feels sick every time  Undecided
