What I would love is for the GOP to get arrested and then the Democrats fuck everything up by themselves so they have no one to blame, but I realise that's just wishful thinking, this two party system exists purely so that the blame can be placed on the other side for the next election.
Since the blame game gets played regardless, that issue is a non starter.

The Repubs need to loudly and clearly state that they are not the party which exists to fix the Democrats' utopian fuck ups and turn them into halfway plausible socialist implementations.

The Repubs need to go radical.  Small government, anti- Washington, anti-establishment.

hahahaha....I know it's wishful thinking...

Unfortunately, if no one to blame inside the country, Democrats will blame powers outside, as did all communist countries.

It is ridiculous to claim it is all one party causing the problems.  How about the people that keep voting the politicians in, don't they get arrested?

The people that count the votes? Never in a million years will tyrants arrest the people who ensure they obtain, and maintain, power.

I think that subject of this post should be corrected, as we have many more that 44,000 idiots in this country. I think it should be around 44,000,000.

I don't follow.  Who did what to whom?  What exactly am I signing here?  I am so confused.

Quite tragic. Our federal government is hemeraging money so the Republicans attempted to stop one of the biggest entitlement programs in US history that will pretty much put the final nail in the coffin. But all they did was stop 15% of the government in an attempt to stop the utter destruction. This was not enough because we were still going deeper into debt.

So instead of doing the right thing and stopping more government, the Republicans caved and allowed the Democrats to have unlimited spending (which they quickly took advantage of).

So the GOP should be arrested for conspiracy to stand back and allow the Democrats to destroy the country.

If the US government actually punished itself for its own crimes (wolves eating themselves instead of sheep, HA!), it would have to gather the vast majority of its members, load them into tens, hundreds of thousands of rocket capsules, and either fire them at the sun if you believe in the death penalty, or land them on Mars, if you believe a quick death is too good for those evil pieces of shit.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.

I would sign something to the effect of "throw all the bums out and start over"  do you have one like that?

I really love your new term "giverment" - very appropriate:

I signed this petition.  In no way did my signature reflect my opinions on barack obama or the healthcare act but I do agree with the petition's stance on the actions of most of the republican party regarding this issue.

I agree, they should not have caved.

Hahaha! Excellent!

Still no petitions against Prism, Journalists being threaten for espionage by Obama, the Obamadrones against real terrorists and real children, targetting whistleblowers, illegal war against Libya (no authorization from Congress, unlike the democrat congress for Iraq for bush), warmonger with Syria, etc, etc..

Total hypocrites when their team is in power. Selective memories. Selective laws. Sad.

More than 44,000 people have signed a petition on the MoveOn.org sebsite calling for the Departmnet of Justice to arrest some House Republican leaders for their roles in the givernment shutdown and debt-ceiling debacle. As The Hill reports, the petition singles out Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and House majority leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), as well as "other decision-making House Republican leaders," for the crime of "seditious conspiracy against the United States of America." While careful to point out that it does not "necessarily endorse the contents of petitions" we thought it ironic that more people successfully completed the petition to arrest the GOP for trying to abolish Obamacare than have successfully signed up for the new law.

The GOP and the Tea Party needs to be held accountable for their actions, sign your name today!
