The board is fine for me, but I tend to ignore threads with more than 50-100 replies unless they are obviously not sig spamming magnets.

Yes the forum software is awful. It is very hard and annoying to use. Hopefully it will be updated soon but I doubt it. We just have to deal with it or find another forum. It is hard to find a good forum that is active and easy to use.  Undecided

This forum software works fine on my end.  I never come here outside of TOR so you would imagine it would be much slower than it performs.  I get decent page loads and can navigate well.  Out of curiousity do you have a somewhat recent computer system?  Say = or > 4 Gig of Ram?

I am new to this forum. is there a more user friendly or less "bulky" version or way to view this forum. Its very difficult to navigate and hard to consume, any advice or resources are greatly appreciated
This is the most user friendly forum I've found around the internet,of course with the large amount of users.Take hack forums for example, shit is filled with annoying signatures and colors that would make your blind.

The only advice I could give you in regards to navigation (in case you got lost), is to always go back to "Home tab or Bitcoin Forum (located at the top left of the screen)" and find your way from there or use the search option from there (so it could search all the database).

less "bulky" version or way to view this forum
Profile > Ignore Boards Preferences > Check boards you wish not to see and click Change profile > less "bulky" version

Furthermore, this thread could help you with some future questions:

What i do to make it lighter is use the tablet to access the forum so it can be loaded quicker on the pages. but yes. there is really something to be done to make it lighter.

They are working on new software for the board. This should be discussed in the meta section.
