I find that the crypto community is one of the most open and that no one has any problem with women.
Well this thread itself has an example of a poorly generalised statement:
They never do a very risky action.
Even if a specific community is very open though, it's important to note that the stereotype threat can be at play in pretty much any group.  Being a minority can be strange for some people.

I feel that crypto can actually be a flagship for many industries in terms of equality across the sexes.

Excuse me for being a little general, of course in a community of many thousands of people there will be some who break the norm. Even though what you say show only 3% I could first argue that it isn't accurate because there's no way to know for sure how many women are in crypto but let's say it probably is close to that figure. Just because there are mostly men does not mean that cryptocurrencies can't be a flagship, there is no discrimination in crypto based on its very nature and that was what I was hinting at, women are afforded exactly the same opportunities to invest or trade or mine etc the same as men are.

More women in Crypto . what do you think about that guys ?
It does not really matter who is using Cryptocurrencies. Being anonymous is how Bitcoin is flourishing in this niche.

I am a woman investing in crypto. I know my nick looks like it stand for "Mr" but actually M is the first letter of my first name and R is the first letter of my middle name.

My brother's girlfriend and my mom are also investing in crypto currencies but they are not in this forum. I am new to all this, but I'm sure there's a lot of women here but we just can't tell them all by their nicknames.  Wink

Amazing ! What country are you from ?  Wink

Good for you and the others in your life for getting involved. I know it can be intimidating to enter a world where it is mainly men in the profession but as you said nobody is going to know. I hope you could spread the awareness and positive aspect about cryptos and that you get more women involved. The more the merrier and besides that would make conferences a lot better I would think too Cheesy

I've never been to any conference, It's been only a couple of months that I've been investing in bitcoins. I didn't know it was like a sausage party. lol
To be honest, I don't think it is intimidating, I don't even thought about it until reading topics like this. I am just interesting in learning more about crypto world and how to try to make the best decisions based on my knowledge and feeling.

In my country Bitcoin is not well know and most people look at it with as if it was some scam. They don't really get it or never even heard about it. But again, I didn't get it too until I did some research. I try to spread the word to a lot of my friends, that includes a lot of female friends too. Like me I am certain that's plenty of other girls around so hopefully more women will join in some time.

Women have great potential in cryptocurrency trading. They are very different from men in psychology. They never do a very risky action. They have a very developed intuition. When working with cryptocurrency intuition has more value than an analyst. Bitcoin is unpredictable. It can only fight a woman's intuition.

I find that the crypto community is one of the most open and that no one has any problem with women. Of course there are more men but I feel like that is not due to any stigma. Almost every ICO I have ever looked in to seriously has 1 or more woman participating in it and I feel that crypto can actually be a flagship for many industries in terms of equality across the sexes.

Women will join crypto communuity more and more. But have in mind that exactly men were in the source of this branch. They will come, but i don't think they will become rivals to us.

That'd be great in my opinion. I think the technology industry is dominated by males(just based on personal observation; I have no information to back this up), that I'd like to have more opinions from women on some topics in the cryptocurrency industry.
