I think its a little hard to find out what you're asking. Individual stats page are disabled so.. Theymos can provide data like that, but by normal users, I am not so sure on that.

Yeah I figured as much. Don't see the point in asking theymos for it either so I'll guess I will have to leave it as something to be desired.

I was thinking of an algorithm that would calculate a value based on posts made, topics started and time spent online to determine the activity per board. If impossible, fine.

As per the Topic, is there any such list available here on the forum? As it seems to be the new hot thing making a bunch of these I'd like to see a list that shows perhaps the top 20 most active users per board or section on this forum.
In terms of activity per board broken down by user, I believe there is nothing available. A derivate alternative view would be the most merited user, or meriter user per board. Those can be seen on the Merit Dashboard. Click on the "Rankings" tab and filter by subsection. You can also move the date filter slider to delimit the data to a specific period in time.

(OMG - this is not a post about merit!  This is a post about Activity and Trust as well)   Wink

I believe the three main pillars of a bitcointalk profile are Merit, Activity and Trust (MAT).

Since I already rank everyone based on those attributes, I thought I would make a new attribute and call it "Recognition".

Everyone is scored 1-1000 for each pillar.  If you are not ranked you are scored 1000.  The totals are added up, and divided by three.

The result, a number from 1 to 1000 (lower is better), is your average ranking in this community - according to these three pillars anyway.  Personally, I was quite stunned at the results.  :/

That's not something a user can produce. It requires scraping all posts, which is too much considering the 1 request per second limitation.

What "most active" means? number of posts? login time?

I'm only aware of these public statistics: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats
