Another one was about two ragdolls from kid's TV show. The things it that dream went something like this:
- So who's our next guest?
- Freddy Krueger

And that bastard comes in the room and laughs like a maniac

The thing about this nightmare is that it appeared three times in my lifetime. Always the same details, characters and so on. Copy-pasted

One night I had a nightmare, where I was chased by a very tall serial killer, wearing a coat and with an axe in his hand. When I finally woke up in the middle of the night and had a heartbeat nearly about 180 bpm and I thought I escaped (because I was not sleeping anymore, right?)...
But then I realised I was watched by someone very tall and with something in his hands. In my apartment. Where I lived alone. And I was just staring at him for like two hours, then I eventually fell asleep. In the morning I've found out, that it was a coat hanging on a wall with an umbrella. Jeez I was very small and scared Sad

Anyone had something similar or even worse?

The last bit was kinda funny, sorry, I did smile. You poor person.

Often I wake up from sleeping and I hallucinate. I am always saying there's a spider on the wall crawling around (or down the ceiling). Once I said there was a bat. I swear I see these things, but I figure it has to do with my subconscious.

More than anything though, if I have to pee, I will dream about sitting on the toilet peeing a ton, yet I still feel like I have to pee. It's weird too, cause my dreamself will say "Oh, I'm totally dreaming this, and I actually have to pee,", but for some reason, I never wake up until a 'while' later, then it's a mad dash to the bathroom.

I figure one day I'll wake up all wet >.> I am expecting it, honestly, so far though, I haven't.

I used to have horrible nightmares about the Child's Play doll (for ten years no doubt). I watched the first one when I was little with no problem, so then my dad got me #2 to watch. Big mistake. They upgraded that doll in a brilliant fashion. The camera showed him actually killing more, and he just looked freaky (his hair shined so bright in it). Anyway, part of the reason is that I went to schjool and some of my friends claimed their dolls were like Chucky... It only took one nightmare for a 3-year-old to get freaked out for years.

Well, on my 13th Halloween, I decided to suck it up and watch Bride of Chucky (mild in comparison, that movie was a joke), it gave me the courage to watch the other movies, and since then, I have owned all movies-- excitedly buying the last two when they were released.

Cool dream i could write a decent story using that as a base.

Go for it! ... A leather-cladded creature stalked me with its monster umbrella.

No No No all wrong! get your head out of the BDSM topic.

It wasnt leather it was Synthetic leather with Chrome studs and the umbrella was a whip.

Okay, dude, I didn't want to go there, but since you forced the issue, it wasn't leather at all but naugahyde with furniture tacks doubling as body piercings, and as for the whip, that was the string from a spent heavy-duty tampon. Did I mention it was a dark and stormy night, for it's only in dreams where our scene lies, and our hero, if you can call him that, has a propensity of escaping death, yet continues to vie for the coveted Darwin Award?

In a past life I was a coat attached to an umbrella. You don't know how long it took me to find you.

Humor aside, I just had a deja vu moment where I felt like I typed this reply before.

Possibly the last thing you saw before you went to bed was that coat and umbrella, and it was imprinted on your mind and your subconscious used that to create that nightmare (possibly).
