Sending those kids all over the country, possibly to homes with elderly parents/grandparents is not really solving the issue - merely pushing it into communities. They should first quarantine them in dorms and then test everyone like they did with the cruise ships but that would make too much sense.

Pardon me being a little skeptical about this CYA shutdown - I'm facing an 18-hour drive to get my offspring LOL. And I bet there is some sort of fineprint that allows the school to not refund any tuition, room, or meal costs because... pandemic.

Breaking News out of New York (which has the highest rate of coronavirus infections in the country). The State Universities of New York (SUNY) and City Universities of New York (CUNY) are going to be going to online learning on March 19th. Private Schools did this first, and the public school system followed suit.

Pretty crazy news, though this is going to be a good thing. Limiting human contact is the best way to stop the spread of this disease, and to ensure that the older population has a limited chance to get this (as it is like 3 percent lethal for the older pop, much more lethal then the flu)

What do ya guys think?

To reduce the dead headcount, all schools, churches, conferences, events should be suspended until we find a vaccine for this virus.
