I noticed a lot of users post spam in this froum to promote their Signature, So where are Mods?
They post shit all the time to only to promote their signature.
UPDATE: Lot of spammer attacked to my thread bcz they dont like this thread and subject, this thread is aginst spammer. So I expect more attack from spammer in this thread.
All people who attacked to this thread are pure spammer who post shit to make a few Satoshi.
Well we cannot blame them, it is their task but still it is not right to commit spam in the forum. Not just because it is irritating but also because it imposes lots of unrealistic news and false informations from people who don't know much about some certain issue. In my case, I always avoid spamming not only because I will get reported but also because I want to protect my reputation here in the forum. I want people to know that I am doing my job properly and I am not abusing my freedom just to earn money.

Hurr durr you're automatically a spammer because you're promoting a service on your signature and I'm not because I can't earn merits.

Seriously, get a grip on yourself.

LOL, so, you want to say that people without paid signature can't be spammers? Interesting logic, but unfortunately you're wrong. In reality, big part of spam comes from Newbies who can't even wear signature.
Absolutely wrong. Even some signature campaigns (paid in BTC) have strict regulations to ensure the participants don't spam forum. And OP must know that the selected members mustn't spammers or low-quality posters since they will never be accepted.

Yes, in fact, most spammers come from Newbie ranks. They promote random projects or just reply with short comments. I guess they may feel have no responsibility or pressure from anyone.

Potential spammers:
-Newbie with low activity
-Members having many red-trusts
-Members who are frustrated with the merit system
-Members who are not aware that he/she are a daily spammer  Grin

UPDATE: Lot of spammer attacked to my thread bcz they dont like this thread and subject, this thread is aginst spammer. So I expect more attack from spammer in this thread.
Lol. Why do you act like a child? Are you still under 18 ages? Boy, please don't blind and assume everyone as bad men once giving suggestion/feedback to you. You don't know that they are good men supporting this forum existence.  Wink

*Boy, you did a wrong way to treat them. Now, everyone will ENJOY to attack you.  Cheesy
*Make it more specific!!

Motherf*ker, thats not spam, I have no signature, Do you understand what spam is even?
you are one of the spammer who post shit.

What ETFbitcoin said is true wearing a signature isn't one of the requirements or signs that you are indeed spamming here in the forum. Spam itself only requires the number of posts you have created on a short time frame and judging from what Bitcoin_Arena has provided you are indeed spamming here in the forum, if you want to lessen your post and stop being a spammer yourself then my advice is for you to focus on the topic you really like and spend time having a conversation on it rather than create a bunch of posts just for fun.

If you really care about spam on bitcointalk you might have more number of reported posts. Did you?

Anyone can spam, so don't say you are not wearing a signature you never spammed!

Forum changed a lot from the past, you can also contribute by reporting posts if anyone spammed under your eyes.

Lol, well, I saw those replies above that you are a perfect example of your post(quite I agreed). Wearing a signature campaign or not, you are not entitled to do spam here in the forum. Next time dont create a thread like this if you did not know yet and you have seen spam post just simply, click the "report to moderator" selection below. You created a thread topic without proper searching if this has already existed and your post was in on redundant. Indeed, this thread of yours must be "lock topic" also to avoid spam as what you have said. Scroll down and search lock topic.

LOL, so, you want to say that people without paid signature can't be spammers? Interesting logic, but unfortunately you're wrong. In reality, big part of spam comes from Newbies who can't even wear signature. And do you want to say that question like ''How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin?'' isn't spammy? I don't think so.
And before complaining, what you have done to eliminate spam? Have you ever clicked ''Report to moderator button? Because mods aren't robots who work here 24/7 and they can't check every single post made by forum users.
P.S. Watch your language.

I don't have any idea about your definition of a " spammer" But as everyone's definition base on the photo presented seems like you're one perfect example.
Spamming doesn't need signatures to do so, It's your posting habit and posting quality.
I guess what mjglqw said is true, this post is just another attempt to fish for merits.

I noticed a lot of users post spam in this froum -

Including you.
Like your previous thread:

I have installed a QT wallet but it not sync, I have no idea what is problem, I reinstalled my wallet but problem not fixed, I turned firewall Off, I reinstalled Windows 10 not worked, I changed my OS to  win 7 but not worked, Even I installed windows XP but wallet not sync at all. I installed microsoft Net freamwork but it not helped. I have no idea what should I do now? I changed my Wifi network to 4G mobile but nothing changed, now what should I do?
I installed on different PC but wallet still not sync , my firend use wallet without any problem but walllet not work for me? What should I do now?
I downloaded wallet from official website.

Binance, OKB, Bitterex, not accept my citizenship, whats best alternative?
Most of the time I tarde BNB, BTC.
I want to trade 190K$.
Safety is number 1 Priority for me.
Low fee is number 2 Priority.

Guys my Citizenship is fkng Iran, I asked Binance support and guess what? They said not only they dont accept my KYC also they told me to leave Binance forever and they told me Im not allowed to use Binance even for small amount btc.

Childish behavior. Open a thread, throw baits (question, problems) and hoping some attentions (merit).
If you do care with your previous threads, stick focus to your previous threads.

The statement coming from someone who was on a topic creating spree yesterday... Ironical, isn't it?
First check on your posting habits before you start moaning about "Signature spammers'. Imagine if each one of us had to open a topic every 8 minutes Huh
A spam free forum starts with you.

Secondly if you feel someone is spamming there is a report to moderator button.

He is very much aware of spamming but do not know that there is a report button for this, and he puts the pressure on the moderators, I guess OP should go back to beta and stay more time to read all the rules here in this section, he is not aware that post bursting do not contribute positively on poster's behavior, OP needs a mirror to take a good look on himself.

You might think that the Mods are not working but if you take out the time to check the number of banned accounts in this forum, you would notice that they are numbering in the thousands.

Actually that won't give you an accurate statistics since not all moderators have the power to assign ban to account most especially those above newbie and also spamming isn't actually the main cause of bans although it can also contribute like when a newbie profile is nuke. The data that can give you some accurate stats is the numbers of deleted topics/posts which can be found here; Modlog

We are all moderators here in our own way and when you notice any user who seems to be a chronic spammer and you don't wanna report them to a moderator, you could simply leave them a feedback and warn bounty managers to steer away from them because they might bring negative attention to their campaigns.

That wasn't the intention behind the trust system and can be categories as an abuse/misuse of the system. Beside we're highly discourage to avoid leaving feedback for posting habits or issue that doesn't involve a users trustworthiness. I know some individuals still do this but that isn't right and beside we have the "report to moderator" button to handle this spam issue properly. Managers should learn to review each applicants posting behavior before accepting them into their campaign. They are been paid for that, we don't have to do their job for them.

OP, mate, there's definitely A LOT less spam right now than how it was back in the day when there was no merit system. I'd say Bitcointalk is in a really really great situation right now as conversations have been a lot better(at least in my opinion). Spam posts have been a lot easier to differentiate from actual constructive posts due to the lesser spam posts because of the merit system.
Much less spam as contributions of the merit system and the community to clean the forum up. People above pointed out how to use the button "Report to moderator", but I would prefer to add some more things.

[Guide] Reporting effectively
Userscripts:
[Userscript] Report to moderator on post history
[Userscript] Bitcointalk Post Filter
If you find dozens or hundreds of spam accounts in same topics, you can report them here, rather than using report to moderator.

You might think that the Mods are not working but if you take out the time to check the number of banned accounts in this forum, you would notice that they are numbering in the thousands, ofcourse nobody is perfect and the mods are very few compared to the number of people in the forum or posting in each section, there are probably hundreds of posts daily or maybe even thousands and you really don't expect a single Moderator to tackle them all.

We are all moderators here in our own way and when you notice any user who seems to be a chronic spammer and you don't wanna report them to a moderator, you could simply leave them a feedback and warn bounty managers to steer away from them because they might bring negative attention to their campaigns.

Everyday thousand posts made by member, every board has at least 1 mod. Do you think they can handle every posts like a bot? No, they are still human bro, can't handle something on time. That's why you see Reports to moderator button as LFC_Bitcoin says. Help mod easy to handle use reports button and you are already give contribution to makes this forum sapm free.

Creating thread like this not a solution, but use report to moderator will be the best solution

The mod you speak of are patiently waiting for reports to be made by those who find such kind of post you speak about but instead majority just ignore the spamming message and proceed to create theirs since they too are spammers and would dislike same fate to befall them. Mods officially aren't spam hunters so when reports aren't initiated they basically can't do anything about the situation unless they go hurting for spams themselves.

Big shout out though to the few users constantly volunteering their time in reporting spams when they do encounter them on threads they're about contributing to. Keep the good work up.
