All I know is when I run the nicehash benchmark, one of the benchmarks put's a crazy amount of stress on the GPU. Like on most test the core is around 1700mhz but on one of the test it goes up to 2037mhz even though I'm 60% power target and +150 on the core. It's weird.
Isn't that the opposite; that test can go up to 2000+ because it doesn't push the cores very hard and allows the GPU to boost higher because  power usage is low.

Neoscrypt and the algo Ethereum uses seem to put the most stress on GPUs in general in cryptocoin mining.

Hello,

Basically, the topic says it all. Which are the most power hungry algorithms for Nvidia cards? Is there anywhere I can see which ones require more power than others - without testing myself?

Thanks!
