Should not rape a laptop ) cooling system of any laptop has not enough capability to work 24/7 for efficient mining. But any POS coin will be good choice
If you're just Cpu mining it is probably best to research a new CPU only coin and hold it hoping for a price increase. Verium was a good coin for this when it first came out and delivered solid returns for CPU mining. The difficulty on that has gone way up now, but there is probably a new coin similar that is good to CPU mine and early enough on that you can mine it early as opposed to late. I wouldn't mind getting CPU mining going again either... Verium made solid returns for me from a laptop.
