Two good sites to constantly monitor the gain you can get from your CPUs are
https://www.cryptunit.com/ e
http://minecryptonight.net/

Otherwise you can always check, maybe every week, the classifieds section here on the forum, to be able to find the new coins.

The profit you will make largely depends on the  you are using but you can try to mine these coins as they are good choices for crypto miners. Ravencoin (RVN), Grin (GRIN), Horizen (ZEN), AEON (AEON),  Electroneum (ETN),  Feathercoin (FTC) , Monero (XMR)
Only ETN and XMR are good to mine with CPU the rest are good only if you have GPU.

I don't know for Grin coin because I heard that there is an upcoming ASIC miner for this coin.

Much better to check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105228.new#new

You can see all the detailed answer if which coins are the best to mine

If you're making $300/month with Monero why look for another one? it's already enough and good profit tbh. You don't have to look for another coin to mine through CPU. But if you want to look for those mineable coins through CPU. How about looking at these?

Why not look for another one?
Who doesn't want more money for the same work?

Thanks for the link.
First coin on the list would increase my earnings 10x based on a quick calculation, need to research more.
Well at least that's a valid reason that I'll ever say too if I'm on the same boat. I'm glad that I helped you out for giving the link. Good luck with your research though.

MoneroOcean seems like a cool concept as well but seems *slightly* behind Yespower on profitability, although, CN algos do use a bit less power -- but that doesn't sound like an issue for the OP.

Mining "yespower" on Zergpool seems promising right now -- "Veco" coin.

Seems to be one of the few CPU things that is on par with power cost right about now.

My office has 10 Intel i7's mining 24/7 on HP workstations. Its been fine for the past year. Power is pre-paid through the lease so no power concerns. Computers still perform fine a year in.

I'd recommend checking out moneroocean if you want to mine multiple coins and have them converted to XMR.
They mine different cn-algo's like lite, heavy, pico, half, etc. With difficulty on XMR network so high I'd recommend mining a cryptonight variant as the difficulty is a lot less.

Don't waste your time and don't destroy your computer over this.  The good days of mining are gone, if you want to make better profits just buy the coins outright and you will do much better.  All the time you spend mining you might make a few cents an hour if your lucky.

aboulsutely correct only big mining farms can make profit for now

I have some servers I use for file hosting service.
File hosting is just disk and network so the CPU's are mostly idle so I can mine on them at low priority and its free since I am already paying for the servers, $300 was what I calculated based on hash rate of one server x no. of servers, but when I check in November it would have been $1000+.

I just wonder if there is another coin that would earn more?
Sure I can install a bunch of them and get the hash rate but I figured someone here would know.

I fail to see how you plan to earn $300 per month by CPU mining?? How many CPUs do you need to have such high profits? It has to be a huge number of CPUs. If you ask me I think CPU mining is not profitable any more. It might have been profitable a long time ago. Even GPU mining is not profitable these days.

Looks TS has about 30 mid range or 10-15 high-end CPUs. If the numbers is truth  Wink
From i7 7700k i can get only about 10-15$ monthly. Of course I hold mined coins till x5-x10 price growth
Now mining with CPU and sell coins is unprofitable unless you have free electricity

Depends what CPU you have really. Some CPUs do better on certain algos than others, would definitely help if you could provide the model of CPU you plan on using to calculate if there's better algos out there to mine with besides XMR for you. Generally speaking, if you know the model of CPU you have, you can Google the hashrate of your CPU model and use the figures you find to determine if a certain coin or algo is more profitable than XMR.

I highly doubt any CPU mineable coin can give you 300 dollars a month unless you have some extreme beefy servers with 2 or more processors each and you have easy access to them.

Most of the time CPU mineable coins will give you like 20-30 dollars monthly if you have a strong computer.

I had a profitable plan to mine monero on CPU which collapsed with the price drop at the end of the year.

The various comparison sites I found are unclear because I don't know what my hash rate for any particular coin is until I install it.

Does anyone know which is the best in 2019?
If monero gives me $300/month is there another coin that will in earn me more on the same hardware?
