Announcing MyEtherWallet v3.24.00: Difficulty Bomb&Updating blockchain

Due to the complexity of the Bomb and the increased risk of hacking, we pushed a rather drastic update that implements a number of changes and improvements, including enhancement of efficiency and scalability of the blockchain, acceleration of transaction speed, and additional security in the form new formats private keys which will help protect users against hacking.

Tomos has kinda disappeared for a while.

I think it's a possibility that he may be facing some serious personal issues (health, jail, ... etc.). Because we don't know I believe it's best that everyone stops mining with Tomos and switch to an alternative until we hear from him.

I'll update the list as soon as I find time to find the current best CPU miner, if not CoinImp (link in signature). Thanks.

After some research I believe I have found the folloiwng most profitable mining out there (rankings). If you find this info useful, kindly use the link provided in my sugnature on the second post of this tread.
Below is a review and instructions on the current most profitable one called Tomos Mining:

The best CPU mining I have found until today is called TomosMining: (link in My signature)

It has both Command Line (C++) and Web Browser (JS) mining, but CMD CL is always around 2x the efficiency and profitability of Web Browser mining.

TomosMining VS CoinHive (Browser Mining):

Currently, 99% of browser mining services use CoinHive. Even Freebitcoin (link in my signature) browser mining does. CoinHive based browser mining however takes 30% in fees for CoinHive + more fees for the service using CoinHive. CoinHive used to be the most profitable because it mines Monero (XMR) which is pretty profitable and easy using CPU.

However, it doesn't switch between Monero and other coins of the same algorithm. TomosMining however, has a script that checks profitability every 15 minutes and switches to the most profitable CryptoNote coin if it's not mining it already.

Because the fees are less, Tomos ends up paying miners a little more per hash.

CPU Command Line (C++) Mining:

In general, CMD mining is simply 2x more efficient and profitable than browser mining. It uses less energy and pays more compared to browser mining. Same goes for TomosMining. It is 2x better to download their Zip file rather than mine with them on your browser.

In summary, Tomos CMD mining is about 2x more profitable than Tomos Browser mining, which in turn is more profitable than CoinHive. Mining rewards are paid to your FaucetHub linked BTC address. You may link your BTC address with FaucetHub by creating an account here: (link in my signature)

How to mine with the Best Command Line CPU Mining:

    1) Make sure you have a FaucetHub linked address
    2) Go to the TomosMining website at the top of this post
    3) Scroll down to the FAQ and click on "How to start mining" then click on "THIS ZIP FILE" to download the Claymore miner
    4) Unzip it, find TomosMining.bat and Edit in Notepad
    5) Replace YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS with the address you linked in Step 1
    6) Save the file in Notepad, go back to the unzipped folder and run TomosMining and let the mining fun profit begin!

Troubleshooting:

  • DLL Error:
    1) Download the latest Claymore version from https://mega.nz/#F!Hg4g1bLT!4Upg8GNiEZYCaZ04XVh_yg
    2) Unzip it and add your edited TomosMining file from step 6 in the new unzipped directory and run TomosMining from here
  • Windows Defender Firewall warning:
Ignore by clicking the X button or warning message or if you have Admin privileges, add to Firewall using your Admin credentials
  • How to track your mining rewards and verify you are getting rewarded for your hashes:
    1) Go to the homepage, scroll down and click on "How to check my balance"
    2) Enter your FH linked address and click on the CHECK button.
    3) Refresh the page or Ctrl+F5 every 15 minutes to see new progress. (If your firewall or AV is blocking hashes or rewards, you wouldn't see a change to the balances)
  • How to assign multiple workers for multiple PCs to track each PC CPU mining performance/progress:
As of this post, assigning "workers" is not available per se, but you can use the following solution:
    1) Link a new BTC address in your FH to be used with each PC you want to track mining progress
    2) On each PC, edit your .bat with the separate BTC address that you liked in FH.
    3) Now when you check the balance, each FH linked BTC address will represent progress of the different PC (worker)
  • Other Troubleshooting help may be found:
