Byteball is a very good token. It's worth investing in.
And now that Byteball is not on the big exchanges, in the future, if the Byteball team strengthens their marketing, the price of this token will rise sharply.

Thank you for laying this out so eloquently.  Some very good information here.   I never really looked too far into the project (I guess IOTA does a better job with marketing.)
I will certainly investigate.  I would give you some merit if I had some lol.

Welcome Smiley I lurked for years before I started posting so I know how it feels.

IOTA and Byteball are both DAG based but that's also where the similarities stop. Code wise, they're nothing alike. Feature wise: Byteball is an almost feature complete, totally functioning platform while IOTA is basically at Alpha/PoC stage.  Somehow IOTA is just way better at getting attention and Byteball flies very low under everyone's radar.

With Byteball, as an enduser you can:

  • Control your own online identity
  • Create powerful smart contracts with just a few clicks
  • Create your own assets / tokens with just a few clicks
  • Be your own Oracle (datafeed)
  • Send money/tokens by textcoin (e-mail/chat), recipients don't even have to have a wallet yet
  • Use chat bots for sports betting, binary trading, flight insurance, altcoin trading, provably fair lottery, etc.
  • The list goes on and on, use you imagination, good chance it can be done

If you are a developer or ICO issuer, you can:

  • Very easily develop apps. It's easy to communicate with the API or embed it in your application. Byteball provides basically all fancy crypto features that other projects just partially or not at all cover. Features like smart contracts, oracles, tokens, attestation, multi-device/multi-signature wallets etc.
  • Integrate with the real (financial) world out of the box
  • Start your own ICO with a complete ICO toolkit, including Asset Exchange, Accredited Investor Attestation, etc.
  • Apply for a grant through the Byteball Grants Program to help you realise your potential

Remember, this is not some fancy roadmap, this is all already functioning, right now.

It's a mystery to me why this diamond is lost in a sea of ....coins.
It's time will come though, I'm sure of it.

Hello.  Newbie poster, but longtime lurker here.

So I see there are a few Decentralized-Acrylic-Graph architecture based coins like IOTA and Byteball.  Do you know any others that are promising?  What do you think sets them apart from the crowd.    I like IOTA because there are no transaction fees and I think this may provide a haven for value investors in a downturn but I feel a discussion about other options might help.

I have some cake now that I want to invest and the next crypto play for me should be a DAG.
