Yes, I connected the riser the right way. Tried connecting the card directly, but still the same issue.

Now after some time I tried disconnecting the card and booting without anything and I got strange behavior of rig turning on-off several times before it boots up (everything is connected the right way though and chip sits on wood not metal)...
Have no idea why that is...

One person said that TB250-BTC motherboards are crappy and it's hard to get them working properly. Is that true?

Thanks!

do you using powered risers ? the risers connected to the motherboard on the right way ? are you powering the risers and the cards ?
The 2 molex connector on the motherboard are powered ? connected to the psu ?
when u using one gpu (rx580) , you connecting that gpu to the PCI-E x16 3.0 Slot via riser ?
Do you connected the gpu via riser the first time when you tried the setup the gpu ? If yes are you sure you plugged the riser on the right way to the motherboard ? if you plugged the riser on the opposite way , you might killed your gpu ...

The right way to connect the riser to the mobo :

Hey,

I've just set up all the components to start mining Eth. Started the rig with 1 GPU (RX580 8GB) at first but windows somehow doesn't detect the GPU... GPU lights are on, but fans aren't turning.

On Device Manager I can only see integrated Intel graphics card and no Radeon. I can't even install drivers as driver software doesn't detect the GPU.

I really don't know what to do... Tried updating the BIOS, connecting the GPU with and without raisers, different pci-e slots.

I'm running on:

  • Win 10; TB250-BTC Motherboard;
  • 4GB RAM (maybe lack of RAM?);
  • CS750 PSU.

Any kind of suggestions or help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!
