Hi,
I have two graphic cards
- msi gtx 1070
- saphire nitro+ rx580 8g special edition

I would like a mother board with two + pci x 16 to be able to connect both motherboards directly in the pc without risers.

Any recommendations for the motherboard please?

Looked at the msi z720 with two pcix16, but i red a lot of comment about issues with the msi card gtx 1070.

Thank you for your infos.

I don't see what the issue is.

Go for an AM3, they have cheap boards that come with Crossfire SLI support which means you can put two cards in the build with no issues.

Pair that with a Black Edition FX series chip and you have 200-300 hashes a second of spare bang for buck, plus another 2 or 3 PCIE slots for external riser expansion.

Any board will do.

Thanks for the answer.
You have a good point about the heat.

I think, if the motherboard is designed with two pci - x16, it should be able to suppport two graphic cards.
But maybe i am wrong....

Did someone else got an issue with the temperature when connecting 2 gpu's directly on the motherboard?

thanks

If you want to install GPU directly to PCIex16 without Riser, are you not worried about melting it? Because mining produces hot temperatures. If the GPU goes directly to the PCIe slot, the GPU blower releases heat which causes heat radiation on the other part because GPU placement is parallel to the other part. different if using Riser.

Any recommendations for the motherboard please?
