Many sites do make it painfully slow to move around USD. I think it is a security precaution they have to take.

Coinbase is shaky, they like to mark most transactions as suspicious. So if rate goes up and in the few days between payment, coinbase is likely to cancel.

I've read that Mt.Gox can take weeks or even months but they just got approved to double their daily withdrawals from their bank so things should be getting better for them. I don't know about others like Coinbase or Bitstamp.

Anyone else have input here? I've asked this question 3 times in various threads, and so far I have got ONE reply. Is there a reason everyone is so quiet about this?

i know mt gox is the worst, so maybe even longer with them.

Hi folks,

I keep reading that moving USD from one exchange to another is "painfully slow".

How slow is that? Are we talking 30 min.. 3 hours, days, weeks?

Can I get more specifics on this, please?

Thanks!
