He can pay them in the original form. I know he was probably ordered by court to use fiat, but it's stupid. They should either divide the coins between the creditors or auction them for fiat and divide that. He's losing money by selling at low prices. HE could get much more fiat by selling at auction or by slowly selling at small numbers and dividing the money between multiple exchanges, preferably those with premium prices (Korean exchanges back in December).
Also, why BCH? What about the other forks? BTG is worth around $100 per coin. He supposedly sold 30k BTC, That's 3 million dollars in BTG being left forgotten. Who will grab that? The trustee? Karpeles? This is a joke.
