This topic is about 3 months old--is this necroposting?  I hope not.  In any case, some of these off-topic topics are just absolutely ridiculous and I agree with most of the people here who've said as much.  I have off-topic on ignore so I don't see the new posts, 90% of which are just sig campaign spam bait.

I have always found the concept of earning money from posting very intriguing, and I think it helps a lot of folks who are poor and can't earn money many other ways.  But there is a way to do it honestly, and a lot of people--especially in the Yobit campaign--don't adhere to rules.  Like some jackoff copy-pasted one of my replies last week and I've seen it before with other people.  That's just cheating and it's wrong.  And a lot of sig campaigners just don't care to post anything that adds substance to this forum or don't understand the language well enough to do that.

Three months is of course a necro.

But all is good, this guy has been banned, not a few days after Hilarious posted here. It's funny to see that almost 400/480 of his posts were in of topic and games and rounds. That kind of post quality belongs on Reddit Roll Eyes

Some campaigns will inevitably just keep on operating even after a ban but most won't want to lose their main account as it is vital to their business here. Hopefully they will just take the warning after a short temp ban like spammers usually do and change their ways but if not they should be treated like any other spammer seeing as they are the ones causing it in the first place but that's why I also suggest banning their signatures too either by a bot that auto bans them  or manually removing them from anyone who continues to advertise for them.

Problem campaigns and their operators like yobit and secondstrade should also be banned
The problem with this I imagine is, since they are using a bot, they have little need for an account here. They could still view the forum and add people to the campaign without an account and could communicate any updates via email or on-site messaging, since I believe they use accounts on their site for payment (rather than personal BTC addresses).

and/or have their signatures forecably blocked if they cannot deal with their campaigns effectively or maybe a button to remove certain users signature would be a good idea to manually remove them.
This is the only thing I can really imagine working well against them. If the forum no longer allows them to show their ads, they would have to comply with the rules or not show ads here.

There must be some sort of measures which can be taken against campaigns with a blatant disregard for the forums. Perhaps banning the signature and campaign overall? There must be a way to wipe users' signatures.
First though, I believe that people who make insubstantial posts like this should be temp banned and told about their mistake.

Signatures along with profile information can be wiped and they are when people are perma banned. I've suggested they should be wiped for temp bans too. Problem campaigns and their operators like yobit and secondstrade should also be banned and/or have their signatures forecably blocked if they cannot deal with their campaigns effectively or maybe a button to remove certain users signature would be a good idea to manually remove them.

But that seems really stupid and extremely non-profitable for them, they are probably paying a ton of money each day and for what? Posts in off-topic? I don't want to make any accusations but if an exchange doesn't give a shit about their promotion here they are either planning to scam people or they are a really really shitty exchange.

Have you seen their rates? They pay dust so it's probably not that expensive and for a lot of people they're the only campaign that will accept them so they take what they can get and in return they have their ads smeared like shit all over the forum.

You can try reporting these blatant spammers to the signature campaigner owner/manager. They can get removed from the campaign or have their spam posts not count towards their earnings.

No one is removed from yobit campaign, even the worse spammers and scammers. The manager is missing since a long time and the send to balance buttom is not working for days.

There is a chance that they will just stop to pay everyone without prior warning

Wait but even if they dont kick people, are they actually paying for any posts anywhere? I know 99% of the campaigns dont pay for posts in off-topic and now most of them are pretty strict.
Everything is automated in yobit, so yes they do pay for any post however shitty it may be.

b!z once filled all the first page of the off topic and nothing happened to him. There is a thread about it somewhere here in meta.

Wrong. He was temp banned if I recall correctly.

Maybe the problem is allow such threads in first place?

No, the problem is we allow users like you and your alts to make shitposts all over the forum for far too long and without repercussions. You should have been banned when you got caught cheating your campaign a while back.

Really? I didn't know about this. Well, on the bright side, he's not going to get rewarded for posting useless things in a burst then leaving. (That would be why his total time spent on the forum is so low)

Not if they're in the YoBit signature campaign, which that guy is in. To be completely honest with you, I don't think YoBit gives a crap about their spammers clogging up Off-Topic and a whole ton of other sections. There were a few threads/posts here in Meta about people who reported blatant spammers to YoBit with no avail. It's where all the spammers go after being banned from other campaigns since they know they won't be kicked out (unless they're serious spammers).

b!z once filled all the first page of the off topic and nothing happened to him. There is a thread about it somewhere here in meta.

I bet too that it is not rare the last 9 topics or so from a section are filled with answers from the same people after they visit and post in some subforum.

And even if low quality, they are on topic and relevant to the thread's subject. Maybe the problem is allow such threads in first place?

Here's some posts from him that ARE off-topic, or rather, don't provide much contribution for the topic.

"Dogs or Cats?"
cats are more cute

indeed, that's a point

"Crypto cadre cloud-cracks SHA-1"
now only 255 SHA's left to decript SHA-256

"Post your Internet speed"

what is the problem with running the test using wireless?

except by the ping, that means nothing anyway

He also posts in the "BIBINKA WORD GAME!" (arbitrarily increasing character count), "Last Movie you watch ?", "Last Drink You drank.", and two of the total time logged in to BCT threads.

Posting two of these right next to each other is spam. There's literally a 25 second interval between them.

I viewed the Off-Topic sub-forum and saw just a ridiculous amount of posts by Mrzinzin, all in quick succession. He is, in fact, signed up for the YoBit signature campaign.

In fact, most of his posts are of incredibly low quality (3-10 words) and the first (undeleted) post he has is about the max # of posts and that people spam when they have signature campaigns.

These low-quality posts are useless to the thread. The majority of his posts are located in the off-topic section and the games and rounds section.
