it should focus on RSCoin mainly - cryptocurrency organized and controlled by a central bank. how do i get there is the question.

You need to explain your requirements a bit more in order to get valuable feedback. What are the guidelines for your thesis? What's the profession?

Apparently you already have a given topic - cryptocurrencies by central banks. (Btw. what is RSCoin - never heard of it?) One obvious possibility would be a comparative critical assessment and comparison of Bitcoin vs. Central bank CC's. Do Central Bank CC's offer any advantage over using non-blockchain solutions or Bitcoin directly? However I doubt this assessment would be pleasing for most mainstream economists (possibly including your supervisor)...

I would not just include 'bitcoin', it generalize it more towards cryptocurrency.

right now im working myself through recently published papers regarding the hybrid cryptocurrency rscoin. i dont know, it might be too early as google scholars only shows four papers in total for this particular subject. when i used the search mask, there were a couple of similar economic question (bsc/msc-thesis) to which some users could give really good advice. im struggling to find an explicit subject like 'causes for bitcoin currency depreciating in 2012" or sth like that...

Hmm. How about the connection of bitcoin to the IOT and possible effects like growth or depreciation due to development of hybrid cryptocurrency like rscoin being implemented/developed by countries and/or corporations.(google,ie,android)?

I can't help you by telling you on what subject to work. I can however give you ideas on a particular subject if you wish so, as long as I know it a bit.

Hello there,
i stumbled across this site while looking for ideas and input for my master thesis. I worked myself through bitcointalk.org, but it seems that the real ‚hype’ around bitcoin has kind of been fading the last months or year. CoinHeavy offered in a post his knowledge to a user who was looking for input as well as i, that’s why i contacted you guys. I feel like, most of the economic subjects regarding bitcoins have already been heavily researched by various scholars. Do you suggest any direction my studies should focus on? I would really appreciate your opinion in this matter.

Regards from Germany,

Malte
