AFAIK MSI warranties by serial, should check if RMA repair is an option.
Sometimes stuff just happens. You could try the trick where you bake it in the oven or if you have only had it a month maybe go for an RMA. Ive had my XFX 6870 hashing for about 4 months now with no issues.

The card is running default specs and is running cool.
Room temp 73f card temp was 70c
