hello community i come for some help, i am unable to get the 8th card running on my build, i will run through a list of everything i have.

Hardware:

1. MSI z270 SLI Plus Motherboard
2. ( 8 ) MSI gtx 1060 6GB gaming cards
3. EVGA 1000w psu
4. 16GB corsaire 2400mhz ddr4 ram
5. i3 intel cpu

Trouble shooting:
1. updated bios to latest
2. set up windows 10 WHQL support to allow m.2 support
3. fresh install of windows in raid and uefi
4. installing each card 1 by 1 with restarts after each one
5. swapped m.2 to pcie cards for hardware failure but last slot still not working
6. enabled gen1 and 4g decoding
7. almost threw machine out window

Try setting PCEx to Gen 2. Use DDU uninstall driver in safemode. Put all 8 GPUs in, then install driver.
Don't install driver 1 by 1.

Hi!
Have you manage to get this working?
Im having a bad time with this Motherboard as well.
Here is muito scenario:
- Works great with 6 AMD gpu (570/580)
- Settings are gen2 enable and 4g encoding enable.
- When I plug the m.2 adapter if the other six are plugged, ir only recognizes one random gpu.
- If I only plug the GPUs on the m.2 spots, everything works fine.

Setup:
MB: MSI Z270 Sli Plus
CPu: Celeron shitty one xD
Mem: 4gb hyperx
Psu: 1 seasonic x_1250w, 1 Corsair Rm1000w
GPU: 2 MSI armor 570 4gb, 2 sapphire 580 8gb, 2 sapphire Strix 570 4gb, 1 MSI gaming 570 4gb, 1 sapphire 480 4gb

Im almost selling this board.. Now when I got into Flasher utility to upgrade the BIOS I get black screen (no GPUs connecting)
Please need advice!
