This is not good. I hate when the whales start manipulating the market. I think I should set my stop loss for now.

I was informed that they have like 160000 BTC left
Many dips to come by affected by them

Well, so the bearish market will start soon. I hope everybody ready for this situation.

Is it exchange going through financial issue hence selling off 8,000 BTC suddenly?

A million Bitcoins change hands on any given day, 8,000 are not going to move the market that much. The reason for the current dip is that Korean Prosecutors have raided the offices of UPbit in a fraud investigation.  https://blokt.com/news/upbit-suspected-of-fraud-korean-prosecutors-raid-headquarters-for-hard-drives-and-accounting-records

always the same scenario. The market rises and then MTGox comes. After dump. when it 's over, we are at ease.

Nope.. the amount is likely to be lower. More than two months back, Nobuaki Kobayashi made a statement claiming that he has sold around 40,000 coins out of the total of 200,000. During the past two months, he may have sold many tens of thousands of coins as well. So the remaining amount is likely to be lower than 160,000. I would guess it will be closer to 100,000.

Really i think thats normal and nothing new about this is my personal opinion 8,000 BTC will not affect much since it was a small portion of the circulated BTC supply thats why nothng to worry about its just a simple routine of Buy and Sell as we all know crypto prices fluctuates regularly. nothing new!

is this what makes the market down? there are about 67 million dollars more, if 8k bitcoin sold together.

The Mt Gox sell-off is what keeps the market depressed as of now. No one knows exactly how many of the coins have been sold and how many are remaining. But it seems that the prices will stay below the $10K level for the remaining part of this year.

They were responsible for the price shake during 2014, and recent ones and now

And they still do have alot of BTC on hand Sad

But even if it was done outside of an exchange, it will still affect supply and demand.  Those people that bought the 8000 btc aren’t going to have the same demand.

This kind of trades usually get done outside exchanges, therefore it does not affect the price or you suddenly don't see a sell wall in those exchanges. There are markets for high volume traders, into which this kind of operations are done. People in crypto tend to speculate with anything.
