This is why you probably shouldn't store your bitcoins at Mt gox. Simply trade there and withdraw to your own wallet just to be as safe sa possible. And when you want to withdraw, divide it into multiple withdrawals so that if something does indeed happen to Mt gox, you won't lose everything.

i see sometimes latley we cant access mt gox cus theres too many users....
what makes me nervous is that what if somehow mtgox got shut down.
what would happen to all our bitcoins and USD?
who can back us up?
ever since coinpal has been shut down ive been nervous.
I know paypal shutdown coinpal, but who says mtgox cant be shut down for illegal reasons? or any reasons for that matter? (im no legal expert)

or what if god forbid the owner of mtgox decides to run away with his bitcoins and money and hide in osamas empty mansion?
we wouldnt find him for atleast another ten years and by then our money would be lost.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
