You could also try to reach someone in #mtgox.  http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#mtgox

i've seen that suggestion so many times on this forum but can't find any guide for non-irc people to actually do it.

i tried using mIRC and also some in-browser chat, and keep getting this:

#mtgox Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be identified with services

could someone please explain how to be 'identified with services' ??

cool thanks, so i type REGISTER and it says Can't use this command in this window.

i really need the 'for dummies' version.

edit: okay worked it out, thanks... i really was doing it like a retard.
but still, it amazes me the hoops one has to go through just to talk to the guy, especially if you're not already familiar with irc.

The support team just sent a message back saying they have no record of a transaction and I need to talk with Dwolla.  Dwolla has a transaction Id saying the money is sent to Mt. Gox.

You could probably try to re-open the support ticket and provide the transaction number to get the exchange's support to take another look.

okay i'll post my problem here instead of making a new thread:

even though my main currency is set to AUD, mtgox keeps showing me the 'trade data' for the USD market.

sometimes if i log out and back in again it'll show me the AUD market, but that trick only seems to work half the time.

So far in my first experience with Mt. Gox has been terrible.  I had the money in Dwolla already so it's not like I tried to rush anything.  But I transfered money from Dwolla to Mt. Gox at 8:30PM on 9/13/11.  I understand Dwolla has writing on the page that says it may take up to 15 minutes for transfer.  It has been over 24 hours and still no money in Mt. Gox.  The support team just sent a message back saying they have no record of a transaction and I need to talk with Dwolla.  Dwolla has a transaction Id saying the money is sent to Mt. Gox.  Who do I need to talk with or are they playing games with my money.
