Is anyone here provide firsthand confirmation re: ability to withdraw fiat from Mt. Gox into a local (Japanese) bank account? What is the experience/service like?

Most recent completion took -2 weeks to a Japanese bank account. It is not that short. Perhaps if you have an account in Mizuho or Japan net bank, in which Mtgox has an account, you should expect faster process.
