Canadians such as ourselves are always coerced into shelling out a premium for goods. Unfortunately, that includes BitCoins as well.
Fortunately, there are a handful of methods to surreptitiously circumvent the limitations imposed on the BitCoin trading market. With that said, there are none that I know of that allow one to forego the bank transfer rates. Albeit, I would much rather take the high currency transfer rates enforced by the banks in lieu of the ludicrous premiums that we are currently confined to.
If someone more sagacious and knowledgeable could chime in, I would be much obliged.

no one can withdrawal USD from mtgox.
I live in Canada and I tried to do a dollar withdrawl from MtGox. After several weeks of nothing I traded them for BTC and moved those to Cavirtex.
It seems that you can use the swift number for your bank. However, most Canadian banks charge a fee to process the transaction and MtGox charges 2000 yen to make the transfer. So the transfer itself would cost about $40-$50 making all but the biggest of trades not cost effective to perform with MTGox. I would only use them to maybe day trade my bitcoins to increase the amount of BTC then transfer to cavirtex so I could cash out. However as of now I kinda suck a day trading so I will continue to use Cavirtex.

I am Canadian and have selling most of my BTC on cavitrex.ca. They are convenient and they will deposit money directly in my account. The price on MTGox is always WAY higher and it is is USD which is worth more than CAN. My question is how would a Canadian withdrawl USD from MTGox.
I tried to set up a bank transfer there but there was no wau for me to enter my bank info.

If Canadians could move dollars off of MtGox fast and easily then everyone would be doing arbitrage between them and Virtex and that wide spread would disappear in no time.
