You need to be able to read between the lines of course....

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mtgox-support-increase-157360

But being in a charitable mood, I have translated the point of that thread from Betweenthelinish to plain English for those who need it.

But the single big exchange, MtGox is such a great decentralised point, we must all entrust.

For bitstamp, i opened an account on the firsts of march for me with 3xxxx as progressive account id, now i opened one for my parents (like 15-20 days after) and the account number is on the 9xxxx range.
well, i'm not sure that's correct. i have my bitstamp account for a long time, and it is 4xxxx. maybe it's 5 random digits and they are still not exhausted?

68000 BTC on ask at gox all the way to 10k$/BTC mark. This is just about 12 BTC per new account. Good luck.

Well, of course, 68k ask is just a tip of the iceberg and more bitcoins can be transferred in quickly, but anyway.  Cool

Vlad,
The world is about to teach the central banks/IMF which end of the chain the dog is on. Bitcoin has just begun to uncoil its massive grasp and with one flick of the tail all of the southern European nations are reeling.
The next round will be containment against Bitcoin, the legitimacy and primacy of fiat banking, and awareness of a new player in finance.
The 10k summit is in reach? I think you called that in summer '11 when you made bold predictions about a hockey stick and projections for BTC.
Check your notes!
Priceless

What is a ticket exactly?

A ticket is a support request.

As said it's a support request.  A way to see it is when you call customer support (or write e-mail) regarding a problem, question, request for some service, adding/removing a service, etc, a ticket is created (this is not only Mt. Gox, but all large enough companies with enough volume of customer support).

When you call the first time, a ticket is created, and designated by a ticket number.  As long as your problem is not solved, you exchange e-mail or call back, the support continue for that same ticket.  Everything is logged and tracked, so when you call back, even if a different person answer, they can follow on your problem, previous problems you had, etc.  When the problem is solved, the ticket is closed (still in the system, just the status is "closed").  That's the purpose of a ticketing system, to track support requests, categorize all the ticket according to different areas (complaints, support, questions, etc.  About product #1, product #2, product #3, etc.).

If it's a bubble, it's a really sane one.

The main impact we had here at MtGox before the price increased is an increase in number of accounts
