It continues to bother me because MTGOX control's such a large volume of the Bitcoin trades; as they go, so does Bitcoin and its reputation.

Well there is obviously money to be made at providing a robust exchange service, someone is bound to do it eventually!

Why can't they fix this issue?? They have millions of dollars of other people's money, yet they can't fix their infrastructure. Why?

This is happens every day.  I don't see e-trade and the likes experiencing such issues; oh wait, that's because those companies are run by adults who are competent and not big kids who collected playing cards.

ok, I'm done venting.
