Hey guys, I've been trying to find a some advice on financing my mtgox account after their dwolla accounts got frozen but can't seem to locate a thread on the forum regarding this. I'm sure it must already have been posted somewhere...... Anyway it seems there are about a zillion permutations and combinations to use aurumexchange and okpay and exchangers and all the different fees and commissions and more hidden fees.

Anyone have experience in using any of these and can recommend the simplest and easiest one to use for someone staying in the US?

MtGox should have died months ago...

Another vote for Coinbase and BitInstant, depending on whether you care more about speed (BitInstant is almost always faster) or cost (Coinbase charges a flat 1% fee, compared to BitInstant's 3.99% or more). If you're already set up to fund through Dwolla, though, going Dwolla->CampBX->Mt. Gox is likely to come out the cheapest.

If you've not used Coinbase or BitInstant before, I have getting-started articles for both.

CampBX uses Dwolla.  If you really want to trade on MtGox then buy your bitcoins at CampBX and send them to your MtGox account.  Oh, and their fees are a tiny bit lower than Gox.

+1 In my experience CampBX has been great.

It's not exactly what it's made for, but in my experience the easiest way to get money into Mt. Gox is by way of Coinbase. Setting up an account in Coinbase was easy, though actually buying bitcoins takes about a week. From there you can send coins to Mt. Gox and do your day trading there by converting to/from fiat. If your goal is just to buy bitcoins through Mt. Gox then this probably isn't the answer you're looking for, but if you want to speculate/trade, this was the easiest way I found.

easiest way is bit instant although the fees are high. There are a couple different ways including using your dwolla account. I think they subvert the dwolla/gox thing by taking your dwolla money and depositing to gox using a different method but I've never tried using dwolla since the seizure.

I have used the money gram method and it works well.
