I theorized that mtgox

Oh, you theorized did you. You must be very smart to theorize thusly.

I've entered a BTC withdrawal request two hours ago. Paid the 0.005 fee too "for faster processing". The transaction was not yet broadcasted, according to blockexplorer.com. What gives ? Anyone can confirm ?

I would find it very ironic that people buy BTC at bubble prices when in fact there are no BTCs to be had in MtGox's coffers.

This is all well known. Ideally the smalltimers would listen to the people that know shit, but other than that the smalltimers are more than welcome to lose what little capital they control. If they're clueless they don't deserve it in the first place.

Never had significant delays on Mtgox either (Bitcoin, ofc), until today. The beginning of the end I guess.

It's probably just their buggy system. This happens to me at Bitstamp and Coinbase fairly often too.  CampBx is the only one that consistently sends it about instantly.  The others can have a delay of minutes or hours.

Never had any delay on bitstamp.
