bitcoinity went down to so im thinking the api crashed!
The lag happens when people immediately put up new orders after theirs are filled. If your claim is true, which I still haven't seen anyone actually attempt to track. I think it is a combination of these things:
1) The people buying are not just trying to resell for higher any time soon,
2) People having sell orders filled are not trying to immediately buy back lower
3) The people selling are putting up new buy orders below their sell price.
4) The people having buy orders filled are placing new sell orders higher.
Hopefully I didn't get anything backwards there.
