Mt.Gox, please don't try to rebrand and continue operating. Just return the coins and go to the dustbin of history...
It's not Mt. Gox's choice. It's the creditors' choice. Unless they can pay everyone back 100%, ultimately a creditor vote determines their fate.

their conclusions wouldn't surprise me at all. that amount of loss never seemed reasonable if they were using cold storage of any sort.
if Karpeles made this shit up to cover his crimes or incompetence he should have a hot poker shoved up his wanker....and everyone that owns bitcoins or lost them on Gox should get one smash on that with the blunt weapon of their choice.

You probadly missed, that BRIC (most notably China) countries don´t play these sanction pissing games. Russian exports like somebody before me said have intristic value. Gas, oil, metals, food and weapons. There will always be market for those and Europeans are already backpedalling in sanction department.
