Can someone check my math here? I want to be sure I'm not missing something.
This doesn't add up:
https://i.imgur.com/7H1DRfb.pngI tried a test and used exactly $10.00 to buy BTC at $948.00. The dollar amount doesn't show here, so you'll have to take my word for it. Or, better yet, try this yourself.
According to mtgox, $10 @ $948 converts into
BTC0.01052632.
BTC0.01052632 isn't $10 worth though,
BTC0.01052632 comes to $9.97895136.
As you can see in the image, the .6% fee is calculated separately, so it doesn't have anything to do with that.
$10 @ $948 SHOULD come to
BTC0.01054852 (rounded down the extra digits), so it look like they're taking an extra .2% (a little more actually) out of each buy-in.
Can anyone else try this and see if I'm getting things confused?
