So in the end you'd offer shares in a day trading operation. The trading would be either done by you or a bot or by community consensus (there's currently no way to verify someone is a holder of your share(s) and of how many other than motions...).

It hasn't been done so far afaik, I would (back on GLBSE 1) nearly have brought something like that online but then decided against it as the platform didn't have the liquidity back then.
I'm not sure of the demand, but in the end it only costs 8 BTC anyways - go on and just do it! Smiley

I'm thinking of putting up a listing on the GLBSE to sell/buy BTC (for USD) on MtGox (or any other trading platform, for that matter, I just like MtGox because the bid-ask spread is comparatively low). It would start with some initial capital, then I would put SELL and BUY limit orders. The BUY orders would execute when the price of USD/BTC is low, and the SELL orders would execute when the exchange rate is high. The limit prices for the orders would be determined by the shareholders or myself. The profits from this would go back to the shareholders in the form of dividends.

Any thoughts? Has this even been done already? Tongue
