this probably means the verification queue doesnt mean it's new people coming in, which so many people use as a reason not to sell

oops
I wouldn't say people not selling because of some exchange queque, but evidently not everybody in there wants to buy.

Mtgox are doing this deliberately now!

I had an account for over year, logged in the other day to withdraw the 0.27BTC to my local wallet i almost forgot about I had there, immediately it said "verification required"

The queue is dozens of thousands long, by doing this they get to hold onto peoples coins while it continues to appreciate!

Hell with them, fucking scammers
Use bitinstant who are much more professional and faster with no silly fucking verification requirements and much lower fees

I have an account there for 2 years now, have made a few very small txs. I thought don't need a verification when sending in and out a few btc. Three weeks ago such a transaction was OK, last week they stop my withdrawal because of "verification needed". Thank you Mt.Gox.

Is it really everyone now? Not just if you want to withdraw over a certain amount?

I have steered a friend towards mtgox and he has been asked to provide ID to verify account.

I never did this. Is this a new measure?
