I consider them being based in Russia a bonus - no way the US are gonna try and raid/steal/shut them down. In fact, the way the DHS, CIA, FEDS etc, etc are running around it's probably the safest place there is. That & China..... Grin

Thats true.... So I guess the best way is to just diversify, no?

I use Gox, CampBx and Bitstamp.

As for BTCe, I'll acknowledge that they seem to be trustworthy based on their history, but I still wouldn't touch them.

Any particular reason for staying away from BTCe? Can't be just because their interface looks bad right? haha

Based in Russia, anonymous owners, poor support, lots of reports of missing coins, no concern for AML.. I just get a bad feeling about them I guess

I like CampBX.com because they seem secure, they use DWOLLA, and they have decent volume.
BitBox.mx is new and has terribly low volume and they accept funds only through wire transfer. They have potential to grow if they market themselves properly and find ways to fund an account quicker that wire in and wire out.

So I've traded on all these 3 platforms and realized that each of them have their own pros and cons. What do you guys use and why? Would you say they are all pretty secure? I'd like to see what everyone things about each of these exchanges as well as any others out there that might be worth mentioning.

MtGox
Pros:
High liquidity
Cons:
Dwolla funding removed
0.6% fee

BTCe
Pros:
LTC/BTC
Decent liquidity?
0.2% fee
Cons:
Hard to fund

CampBX
Pros:
Great interface
Ability to buy on margin
Easy to fund with Dwolla
Cons:
High fee of 0.55% forever (instead of 0.6% after using affiliate link, use mine if you need to! -->  https://CampBX.com/register.php?r=U9PihXL6BPI)

What do you guys think? Which exchanges have been easy to fund, which do you usually use, etc...
