Excellent reply. Every day, dozens if not hundreds of individuals are detained at airports within the United States and abroad. Only a very small fraction of these individuals happen to be Muslims. Also, out of the millions of Muslims who travel by air every year, only a very small fraction get detained.

Is being rich and all stopping someone at all? tbh, if I were in the airport security team, I wouldn't even bother remembering him or his face, tbh I have no idea how he looks rn. Don't you think there's someone who's been detained twice also but we didn't hear about that guy? why? If his name is muhammad, then too bad, he couldn't have been named Jim and there would probably be no problems at all.

That might be valid, until you consider this is the second time it happened, and the first time he was held for a pretty considerable amount of time, and he is a frequent traveller. You would hope that the TSA isnt so fucking stupid it needs to interview someone it just vetted twice in a month?

But, these are the guys that grab ass and balls for a living, so I guess they are just making lemonade by needlessly harassing visitors.

Exactly! I agree with you. Ali Jr. is an American citizen, but he detained because having a name in Arabic. He was detained in the country where he lived and it was very unreasonable. America as the largest democracy is not supposed to do that, it would eliminate democracy in America on religious freedom. This policy must be changed because it is not perfect if run.

Though the policies made are good for the United States of America it needs refinement in its implementation so as not to cause problems with people who are already registered as a US citizen. Exactly. This is the second time that Muhammad Ali Jr was detained. This is crystal clear that this is directly linked to the President 's order to ban Muslim for entering United States. But Ali Jr is an American citizen. Of course, he wouldn't deny that he is a Muslim but he is also an American. I know that the executive order in binding but this could be a subject for legal review. This order's preferential treatment of Christians over Muslims violates the first amendment on freedom of religion IMHO.
