Many bounty manager prohibits to use multi accounts. If still someone use multi-account then that is the policy violation of that project in that case multi account holder may receive red trust.

So, it is not considered as abuse for the forum if you use different accounts for different campaigns and use your real address or a campaign which has no states about only one user can join each person?
If a campaign states that one account per user can join the campaign then its very clear that joining with multiple accounts owned by the same person into that specific campaign will lead to a abuse if caught. This will be followed up with a removal of all the alt accounts on the campaign linked to that account and a red paint on those accounts for attempting to abuse that campaign funds.

Those who do such things to abuse really need to find a real meaning of their life. Abusing a campaign is the lowest level of "theft" you can do for a team who are giving you the opportunity to earn some coins.

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.
There is a LOT of people who have multiple accounts as long as you use for your privacy and security and not abusing any bounty with your accounts or trolling, then its fine, you can use it. Read more the Unofficial list of the forum rules made by mprep here so you'll know.

It is okay to have another account and participating in 2 other signature campaigns? Thank you very much for your replies.

Yes, I have two publicly known accounts on different campaigns, though some people would frown upon a user joining the same campaign with two more or more accounts and consider it abuse, especially if that campaign specifically states that only one user can join per person. Once an account is spotted to have abused bounties there are some people who leave appropriate feedback for that and all the accounts that belong to that user.

Hello, please, I would like to know why altaccounts (multi accounts) are red tagged? I see many tagged members here but a lot of them are not abusing signatures.
Having an alt account is not tagworthy. But if you use alt accounts to abuse giveaways, campaigns, bounties and give trust to each other accounts then it is going to be marked with a red if you get caught.

And why DT members consider that someone has multiaccounts? If someone uses someone else Telegram, Blog, Steemit, Twitter, it could be considered as multiaccount?
A single bitcointalk account can be associated with multiple social media accounts. For example you can have several twitter accounts and use them individually on different bounties. If you use the different accounts on one bounty you are cheating the bounty with multiple accounts. Then it is going to be tagged since you have cheated the bounty/stole from the ICO team.

I understand that same Ethereum address is obvious, but other accounts could be traded also..
Account sales are marked with red if caught.

Depends on how a DT member thinks of it. Since you posted this - its evident that you come to this forum in order to get paid from wearing a signature and not interested in getting involved in any conversation. If you ask me then you will get classifed as a signature spammer in my eyes.

Noone here love when someone use the forum for money making, so if you are openly saying that you have couple profiles here and participate in some campaigns you simply may get red trust for all of your profiles.

you can have an alt if the alt doesn't join any other campaigns. Red trust are for users who abuses that has alt accounts and joins signature campaigns just for the sake of profit and money. Some alts can be detected through merits and/or having same IP address and device used which usually ends up being IP banned.

Well my memory can be shit, so as long as you keep it bright in your SIG I'm sure I'll remember at some point.

Next year, I guess winter 2019 will be the first pump.

If it was easy everyone would do it... well actually do it not run a scam "coin".

Good luck, I'll keep an eye out.

I guess, I should stop hijacking OP's thread, they're probably lost right now.

Well hit me with a PM when things start moving forward or once you have a space for discussion.

Thanks, but it won't be until next year. I've got a lot to learn. Smiley

Are you actively discussing Thermocoin anywhere?

I'm still evluating USPs for it. I've worked out a way to reward early miners with Bitcoin and they keep their ThermoCoins, and it won't require any initial coin purchases, so it won't be an ICO. I want it to take advantage of the emerging trend in the production of dual function mining hardware, but I need to learn more about mining before I can do that.

Sometimes I forget who I am - I'd be no good as a scammer. Smiley

Anyway talking merit is starting to get boring, pruned nodes are a bit more interesting at the moment. Now 'pruned merit'  would be an interesting concept.

Well it's good to know what your bad at.  Wink

I see your interest in Thermocoin, is taking you deeper and deeper, you may have to introduce one of the many Merit trackers to this pruned Merit concept.

Are you actively discussing Thermocoin anywhere?

Hello, please, I would like to know why altaccounts (multi accounts) are red tagged?
Multi accounts are allowed in this forum. If they get red-tagged then the account must be abusing the forum rules. The tag should have a reference. IMO tag without a valid reference should not be taken seriously.

I see many tagged members here but a lot of them are not abusing signatures.
Mistake can happen. In that case, collect valid references, then reach out to the member who tagged you and explain him.

And why DT members consider that someone has multiaccounts?
When they find the evidences that someone have multi account of course.

If someone uses someone else Telegram, Blog, Steemit, Twitter, it could be considered as multiaccount?
- No, it should not be however if you do not mention it (with valid reasons) that these are someone else's accounts then how would other person (investigator) will know?

It is okay to have another account and participating in 2 other signature campaigns?
One account, one sig campaign. Multi accounts from same user can not join the same signature campaign and bounty, some manager clearly specify this rule.

PS: When you have an alt then it is advised to neutral tag the other account that this account is the alt of your that account on the trust page.

Your account were tagged because you attempted to buy a Hero account which is discouraged. Like what LoyceMobile said...
Red tags are for abuse. Having more than one account isn't the problem
Just let me add something, as long as you're using your account for good contributions in the forum, you account (including alt account) will remain safe from tags. But if you've done something that is prohibited both of your account will receive negative trust. You know why? Because the one who is untrustworthy is you as a owner, not your accounts, your accounts are just being used! In short if only DT members can only put red paint in your face they'll probably do it Smiley But because they can't, they simply paint it in your account as a symbol that its owner is untrusted.

See these two replies above me? They're also alt accounts and they don't have tags not because their owner are acknowledged, it is because although they're alts, they make good contributions.

I'm sorry for being exaggerated in that "paint in face" thing.

The majority of the Alt accounts that you see tagged received this because the holder of accounts did something to deserve this.

Maybe under account A they scammed someone, or tried to and got caught; or maybe were abusing a SIG campaign. From there any known( or highly suspected) ALT accounts get painted in RED. Usually along the lines of "known ALT of Account A"

Sometimes people also catch someone using multiple accounts to try and perform multiple functions in a trade situation or some other untrustworthy action.

Apart from that many users here have ALTS, and as long as they don't do something stupid can roam around with them.

I you have more than one account, it is best to register the fact on the reputtion board. This minimises the risk of confusion and fraud accusations. For example, this is the alt of Jet Cash.

Silent26, is referring to Loycemobile, and Talk merit. I must have snuck in while they were posting.

Red tags are for abuse. Having more than one account isn't the problem, but if one account gets tagged, the rest gets tagged too.

Proof: this is my alt.
